Baked Pork w/ Cherry Glaze

This is from a JoAnna Lund book that I have. It sounds awesome. I plan on making it over the weekend.


4 (4 oz) lean pork tenderloins or cutlets

1 1/2 teaspoons dried onion flakes

20 oz can Lucky Leaf NoSuar Added Cherry Pie Filling

4 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley


In large skillet sprayed w/ butter-flavored cooking spray, brown pork for 3-4 min on each side. Spray slow cooker w/ butter-flavored cooking spray. Evenly arrange meat in prepared container. Stir onion flakes into cherry pie filling. Pour pie filling evenly over browned meat. Cover& cook on LOW for 4 hours. When serving, place 1 piece of meat on a plate, spoon about 1/2 * cherry mixture over meat & garnish w/ 1 teaspoon fresh parsley.


Each serving- 180 cal, 4 g fat, 2 g fiber, 22 g protein,14 g carb, 62 mg sodium, 7 mg calcium----4 pts (falls on the line between 3 & 4 pts)


This came out great & my family loved it! I added 2 more pork chops w/ out increasing the sauce ingred & it was still plenty of sauce. I'd serve this one to company.
