They turn out just as good as soaking overnight. * Exported from MasterCook *  Warm Chunky "Apple Pie"  Recipe By : Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories :  Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 10 large apples -- *see Note 1 cup Splenda -- **see Note 1/2 cup water 1 tablespoon cinnamon -- ***see Note  1. Exchanges: 1 Grain(Starch); 1 Lean Meat; 5 Vegetable; 2 Fat.  NOTES : I cook and drain the ground beef before I put it in the crockpot. It isn't necessary if you use extra lean beef but I have issues with fat.  As is the recipe is 7 points per serving but the servings are HUGE! If you changed it to 8 servings it would be only 5 points. Depends on how hungry you are! Peaches6311 10 Posted November 4, 2009 For the cabbage roll casserole, do you need to cook the ground beef first?
cheryl39 1 Posted November 5, 2009 Peaches, I'm guessing no. You don't when you roll them up the old fashioned way. hope that helps
