Momma25 0 Posted January 29, 2006 Oh my goodness! These look awesome! I've copied a few to try. I like that so many of them use whole foods since I don't use artificial sweeteners or packaged FF foods. There were a lot of really great whole foods recipes to choose from. A real find! Guest RecklessAngel2001 Posted June 22, 2006 A lot of those recipes on the lady's page look good, but one in particular I'm wondering about...the pina colada dip. It has 14 grams of fat. How can that be on Core? Thanks!
plcm111195 0 Posted June 22, 2006 A lot of those recipes on the lady's page look good, but one in particular I'm wondering about...the pina colada dip. It has 14 grams of fat. How can that be on Core? Thanks! Â My guess would be that the nutritional info was figured using yogurt and frozen whipped topping that was not fat free. I would also keep in mind that even FF Cool Whip is not Core. It is 0 points for the serving size on the container but the whole tub is 8 points so you'd need to calculate accordingly. latebloomer 0 Posted August 10, 2006 Hi Buddies: Â Just wanted to note, especially to those who are not currently on Core and may be taking this site at face value-MANY of these recipes ARE NOT CORE. I looked at 4 recipes. Here's what I saw: 1-sugar. 2-sugar, honey, and nuts. 3-sausage. 4. Cornstarch. Â I thought maybe I had gone to the wrong link. But no, it is labeled Tried and True Core Recipes. I believe she means that they can be easily modified, but you need to know what is and isn't Core and not just assume anything! Â I will get off my soapbox now. Â Thanks. Latebloomer
Niadance 10 Posted August 16, 2006 I noticed that alot of the core recipes had non core ingredients too....so it would still require some adapting. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
