Sunni~ Thanks for these sites. I have bookmarked them. One of my New Year's resolutions is to try CORE. I want to get a few recipes together that I think DH 144.gif and I would both like. BCB and these two links should keep me looking for awhile.

Oh my goodness! These look awesome! I've copied a few to try.

I like that so many of them use whole foods since I don't use artificial sweeteners or packaged FF foods. There were a lot of really great whole foods recipes to choose from. A real find!

Thank you!

I wasn't sure if I wanted to try core because I didn't think there were enough ways to make the food I liked...until now!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!

A lot of those recipes on the lady's page look good, but one in particular I'm wondering about...the pina colada dip. It has 14 grams of fat. How can that be on Core? Thanks!

My guess would be that the nutritional info was figured using yogurt and frozen whipped topping that was not fat free. I would also keep in mind that even FF Cool Whip is not Core. It is 0 points for the serving size on the container but the whole tub is 8 points so you'd need to calculate accordingly.

Hi Buddies:

Just wanted to note, especially to those who are not currently on Core and may be taking this site at face value-MANY of these recipes ARE NOT CORE. I looked at 4 recipes. Here's what I saw: 1-sugar. 2-sugar, honey, and nuts. 3-sausage. 4. Cornstarch.

I thought maybe I had gone to the wrong link. But no, it is labeled Tried and True Core Recipes. I believe she means that they can be easily modified, but you need to know what is and isn't Core and not just assume anything!

I will get off my soapbox now.

Thanks.

I noticed that alot of the core recipes had non core ingredients too....so it would still require some adapting.
