T: Workout on home gym DONE!

W: Rest day

Oh MAN! Am I sore. I think I pushed a little hard after yesterdays lower body workout. My glutes are screaming at me! I still pushed through the two other workouts on my rotation for today, but it really wasn't my best effort. I'm so glad tomorrow is a rest day!

Last week was insane here too. Dd's room got painted, at the expense of other things. I also did an office move. So I may not have FIRMed much, but I wasn't a couch potato either. Yesterday we got dd moved back into her room -- re-assembled her old bed and put together her new desk. This week will still be crazy.

I am still waiting on my videos from DeepDiscountDVD.com. I may have placed my last order with them (depending on how they deal with the problem). The FIRM got an email back to me in one day, and my order from them has since arrived. I haven't heard back from DDD yet. I ordered from both the same day, and sent inquiry e-mails the same day.

Tenative for this week:

Sun. - furniture moving and assembly done

Mon. - band concert

Tue. - FIRM C/S tbd

Wed. - Cardio tbd

Thur. - FIRM C/S or S tbd

Fri. - Cardio tbd

Sat. / Sun. FIRM & cardio tbd

No plan as usual except to workout! :strong:

Joanne-I commend you for doing 2 vids a day. I try but never succeed! You find the funniest smilies!

Todd-what kind of cardio are you doing this week? We will get you onto some video or machine!

sal-Yes, I'm jealous of the temp down there!

Heidi-I know what you mean about adding your own arm stuff. You should see me during aerobics, sometimes I get so into the music I dance around and strut my stuff. (I am alone, of course!)

Barb-I love the Gilad step tape I have right now. He is a really fun instructor.

LeishA-TMS is a toughie, Steph is a tough instructor. I am not a big fan of heavy four limb work, however. I get through....

Nancy-Thanks for the advice on weights last week. I just wonder "where it all ends".

I'm off for the gym. I should *really* make myself run outside, but I'm such a wimp and (like Hoosier Daddy) don't care for this Indiana winter...so, it's the treadmill for me today. Which is fine by me b/c I'll get my daily dose of Sports Center. :)

Amy - I, too, hate heavy four-limb work. I didn't go very heavy yesterday though b/c I was suffering from cramps and just wanted to get through a workout -- pushing myself wasn't even an option since getting off the couch felt like I was pushing myself.

Have a good one!

Lesh

Nancy - I know what you mean about Deep Discount DVD - I had ordered "Calorie Killer" from them, and it had been about 30 days with no arrival. After attempting to email their customer service (it kept coming back), I finally got through and cancelled the order. They said they would credit my card...then lo and behold - guess what arrived the next day! So I emailed them back (attempted 4x and never did get delivered) to cancel the credit. Haven't got my statement yet so I don't know if I've been credited or what!

Good luck!

I have had so many problems shopping online in the last year. The Firm sent me a used (nonn-working) ABS when I got the TransFirmer. I'm still waiting for the replacement.

Amazon sent me a Firm DVD that was advertised as new but *clearly* wasn't. Fortunately, it worked.

Then I got a stability ball which came with scuff marks. If I want used, I'll buy it!

I'm sorry you all had problems with DDD. I ordered several from them with no problem. I just got Calorie Killer 2 (with Dale) and Cardio Split from collagevideo and Tough Cardio Mix from half.com in the mail today. I really need a rest day though after this weekend. :ugh:

Wow! You people are workout video junkies! LOL LOL I just don't like doing video's at home. DH works shiftwork, so any noise will wake him.

Lesh-I can't believe that I finally found another woman that needs her daily dose of Sports Center! Woohooo! That's what I watch while I workout!:headover:

I ended up going to the gym twice yesterday. Once for the class and then the second time to do my abs routine. I ended up chatting with the yoga teacher who told me her class was half abs. I went and did this second class so that's two the same day! It was great, I don't think I did all the poses correctly but :embarrass learning is half the fun right?

Wow! You people are workout video junkies!

Well, Yeah! ;) That's why we call ourselves FIRMies! I work at a gym, and the trainers laugh at me when I talk about my videos...and yet they're so impressed that I can do full "boy" push-ups. hmmmm....Love my videos. :D

I also love Sports Center....really just because of football. After football season, I may turn it on from time to time to catch draft news, but that's about it. I'm a football junkie! :)

I decided that snow was no excuse to run inside...so, out I went for a little walk/jog in the falling snow. And, honestly, it wasn't that bad. But I will wear gloves next time (brr!).

Have a great day, all! Lesh

I think I'm too tired to eat them. :sleepin:

Hi Firmies:bcbsalute

I changed up my schedule a bit tonight. My feet are so sore from this darn plantar fascitis stuff and the new shoes I just bought. I was actually in bed - then decided to get up and try the 8 min Tae Bo tape that has been collecting dust for a few yrs now. Man it was rough but I made it through plus did floor work. I feel good about doing it and not just going straight to bed.

I just got in the new Denise Austin Power Zone w/ resistance band. I cant wait to try it tomorrow after work. I'll let you know how it goes.

Joanne- you amaze me! I cant wait to be where you are.

Todd- What kind of home gym do you use? WTG on not skipping your workout!

Sal- Good luck at WI

MrsBaldEagle- WTG!

Leshia- Great plan! Does the cold slow you down?

Nancy- hope you get your videos soon

Amy- I love Gilad too. I am looking into his step tape. The only one I have is the one that came w/ my rebok step.

Theresa- your schedule looks great!

Gotta hit the hay- Have to open the store tomorrow. Blah! LOL

Hugs,

Barb:bcbsalute

It's a Keys Fitness ST-300.

I seemed to have misplaced the manual, so I'm still trying to figure out what I can do with it. I kinda wish we had spent the extra money and gotten the next step up. It has a leg press.

Oh well, I'll just have to spend more time on the bike. :)

Of course that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

Todd-Did you find a bike? WTG on doing your Workout!

Lesh-I am such a football, basketball, soccer, baseball junkie! My youngest son plays Div 1 Soccer and is a goalie. He's doing ODP training right now. He and I loveeeeeeeee sports and we call him ESPN on legs! LOL I've never seen anyone that knows so much about every player in every sport. He's been able to remember all of that stuff and keep it straight since he was very little. He wants to be a Sports Agent, so I told him that he needs to get a Law Degree and he thinks it's a good idea. "Show Me The Money!" May another Jerry McGuire on my hands!

Man - I'm LOVING the FitTV channel! This morning I did a quickie 30-minute workout "I Want Those Arms" with Tamilee Webb after I got back from my walk/jog with DDoggie. I'm still trying the 5K training, although I'm working my own schedule. I actually ran more than I walked today!

I will, of course, still do my regularly scheduled FIRM workout tonight when I get home!

I love Total Scupt! It's a tough workout but fun.

I got Tough Cardio Mix the other day and LOVE it! It's cardio segments from Fat Blaster, FIRM Strength and FIRM Cardio. I like it even better than Fat Blaster Alone. I wish I had gotten it on DVD though.

I got up early, but our office is delayed in opening due to the ice here so I did Ultimate Calorie Blaster already and may do the 4 mile WATP tonight to make up for an overindulgence from last night. :embarrass
