Guest mom2tsm Posted January 11, 2006 Hi everyone. Tonight I made Lifetime and I have a question. My leader said my weight TODAY (+/- 2 pounds) is the weight I need to maintain. I thought I had to maintain the weight I was 6 weeks ago when I started maintenance. Which is right? Thanks, and thanks to BCB for all the wonderful tips I've received. They've all been wonderful. They've all been wonderful.Mine was the weight I was at when the six weeks started. Look at your booklet. What is the weight written on there? At your next meeting discuss it with your leader. Congratulations! HW-142 CW-118 Success is not built on success. It's built on failure. It's built on frustration. plcm111195 0 Posted January 11, 2006 Congratulations on making lifetime!!! WTG! It's my understanding you just have to stay less than 2 pounds over the goal weight you chose. For example, I chose 157 as my goal. I need to stay under 159 to remain free. I know I was under 157 at the end of my 6 weeks. I've been as much as 14 pounds under my goal weight. You might want to have your leader check her procedures. Unless you're in a franchise with different rules, it shouldn't be tied to the actual WI but to your goal weight and it's only 2 pounds over. You can be as far under (as long as it's not under the bottom of your range.) Joanne SW 252.6/WWG 157/2013 Restart 192.6:bcb_huh:/CW189

nancyny 0 Posted January 19, 2006 Congratulations on making Lifetime!  The answer to your question is probably "they are both right."  You maintain your goal weight. However there is no such thing as maintaining at a certain weight -- your weight is going to vary, probably by a few pounds, up and down around your goal weight, and WW allows you to be as high as 2 lb. over your listed WW goal because of that. So anywhere in that range counts as "maintaining." Nancy  Original SW 175 (1996) 2008 stats: SW 153.6 12/31/07 ~ HW 156.0 09/15/08 ~ CW 153.2 09/22/08 ~ GW 137 ~ PGW 130 My pictures!
