Made Lifetime tonight

Recommended Posts

Guest mom2tsm

Hi everyone. Tonight I made Lifetime and I have a question. My leader said my weight TODAY (+/- 2 pounds) is the weight I need to maintain. I thought I had to maintain the weight I was 6 weeks ago when I started maintenance. Which is right? Thanks, and thanks to BCB for all the wonderful tips I've received. They've all been wonderful.

Mine was the weight I was at when the six weeks started. Look at your booklet. What is the weight written on there? At your next meeting discuss it with your leader. Congratulations! :goal:

Congratulations on making lifetime!!! WTG! It's my understanding you just have to stay less than 2 pounds over the goal weight you chose. For example, I chose 157 as my goal. I need to stay under 159 to remain free. I know I was under 157 at the end of my 6 weeks. I've been as much as 14 pounds under my goal weight. You might want to have your leader check her procedures. Unless you're in a franchise with different rules, it shouldn't be tied to the actual WI but to your goal weight and it's only 2 pounds over. You can be as far under (as long as it's not under the bottom of your range.)

Congratulations! I work at WW as a receptionist and what Joanne above said holds true for my location as well. As long as you're not 2.2 lbs OVER your goal weight you should be fine.

OP since July 15, 03 I lost 115 lbs!! :work_out: Goal 12/ 04

Website www.freewebs.com/dimpledn/:strong:12/08 also started a blog!

Congratulations on making Lifetime!

The answer to your question is probably "they are both right."

You maintain your goal weight. However there is no such thing as maintaining at a certain weight -- your weight is going to vary, probably by a few pounds, up and down around your goal weight, and WW allows you to be as high as 2 lb. over your listed WW goal because of that. So anywhere in that range counts as "maintaining."

Congrats to you for making Lifetime Membership. You should be very proud of yourself.

I know I found it very hard believe it when I did it. And it's one of those feelings that are hard to explain until you get there.
