Dolphin Girl 10 Posted January 30, 2006 Hey Liz :bcbsalute  Way to Go!!! You look AWESOME!!  What did you do for toning and getting those tight abs?? Any secrets you care to share??   Keep up the great work! It's not about the number on the scale - it's how great I feel about myself.  Every positive choice (no matter how small it may seem) is a step in the right direction.  Most important = Persistence, not Perfection. lizzie1977 10 Posted January 31, 2006 I only joined ww last september. I lost only about 10 of those pounds on my own before sept. so it really hasn't taken me long to lose it. I have my ups and downs but I am devoted to losing the weight which helps me to stick with the program. Plus, running has really helped me to lose a lot of weight these past few weeks. lizzie1977 10 Posted January 31, 2006 I love all the questions and hope to answer more. Honestly, I do not do situps. I hate them. I have only started running that is it. No extra work out stuff. I have been dropping the weight like crazy these past few weeks due to running. I know most don't run but to even get out 4x a week and walk for about 3 miles you will see a HUGE difference in 2 weeks, i promise. I started my mom on that and after one week she has lost weight. It will work. I thought 3 miles was so much but really it is not. when I started running I was dying at 1/2 mile and now I run 5 miles after only 2 months of running without even thinking twice about it. Good luck everyone, we can all do it!!! Lizzie "hard work makes you beautiful"
destiny's mom 10 Posted January 31, 2006 Liz, you look wonderful!! Thank you so much for the inspiration. I have just started Couch to 5k program and have lost 3 inches in one week. Running does help and your picture will help me continue on. I just had a baby 6 months ago and I really needed to see someone who has been there, done that and got a Tshirt for it!! Thanks and again Congrats!! Nikki SW 230.6(01/15/11) CW 199.9(1/20/12)
lizzie1977 10 Posted February 1, 2006 I wanted to tell you all that with the running I have dropped another couple of pounds this week. I got on the scale this morning and it said 141. Yeah!!! For me to do maintenence in WW I am to be at 140 so I am almost to hopefully being a life time member. Never thought I would be there. This is the first time in my life that I feel like I have accomplished something and NEVER SAY NEVER because I am living proof of that. I never pictured myself here. It only took 4-5 months of really trying. In reality, it is not that long. 4-5 months of hard work for the best pay off for the rest of your life!!! lizzie1977 10 Posted March 17, 2006 I was just wondering what the couch to 5k was? I have heard it more than once. If anyone could explain that would be wonderful. Â Â Trust me...it takes time but if you want it bad enough, like i have, you will get there. My size 6 pants that I am wearing today should probably be a size 4. I never EVER EVER thought I would be here. I am more thin now than I was in High School. And at 28 years old I am feeling great. Of course my parents think I am too skinny now but I just wanna enjoy a body right now that i haven't had in so long. Good luck everyone. HOpefully a new picture will be posted soon.
