Guest minibuttercookie Posted March 23, 2006 I love these so I thought I'd share with everyone! 1 cup FF milk 2 Tbsp. FF SF Jello Pudding Mix (any flavor as long as it's FF and SF!) 10-12 ice cubes 1 tsp. vanilla extract 3 Tbsp. water (I only do this if the shake is getting too thick for me!!)  Put in blender for at least 2 minutes to chop ice up. Poor into BIG glass and enjoy! It makes somewhere around 3 cups give or take and I sometimes have it for breakfast or lunch!  are you using instant pudding? Drayoki 10 Posted March 23, 2006 Yeah, it's the instant stuff. The only flavors the commissary has up here are chocolate and vanilla. But if you can find and use other flavors, go for it! Mel DD Alexis born 11/04! DS Aiden born 12/06! Â
good2go 10 Posted March 25, 2006 This was really yummy. I used choc sf/ff pudding and choc d.v. syrup. I also added a frozen banana, which brought this up to 5 points, but I got in a dairy and a fruit! Thanks for sharing. suelu 10 Posted April 17, 2006 Hi! i made this with 1 tbsp butterscotch, 1 c milk, and 10 ice cubes (from the freezer door machine kind) and it tasted great but i was a little dissapointed in the size - mine was like a cup and a half. but it was super sweet and yummy. so what can i do to make it HUGE like yours? claysmama 10 Posted April 18, 2006 Man, how good is this?  I used Skinny Cow FF milk, SF vanilla pudding, added some frozen mixed berries (less than 1 cup) 2 Tbsp of FF plain yogurt, my 2 tsp. Olive Oil and 2 Tbsp of wheat germ. It adds a little bit to the points, but I've got dairy, fruit AND oils in now that I can check off!!! Mine made 24 ozs once blended.  Thanks for the posting of this recipe!!! Winged Victory 10 Posted April 22, 2006 Another twist that has worked for me is to add a scoop of protein powder. 2 scoops of my powder give 13 grams of protein for only 1 pt. (50 calories) When I made this frequently two years ago -- it was the choc. pudding I used that masked any hit of the protein powder taste. The protein powder isn't for everyone, but if you are needing more protein as you exercise, it is a great option for those on 20pts. Â I'll have to look for the De Vinci flavors. Guest *Krystal* Posted June 27, 2006 I am addicted to blended coffees, so I used the chocolate pudding and added some instant coffee to the shake. It was awesome and it satisfied my coffee addiction. Enjoy!
Pandorra 10 Posted June 27, 2006 I wonder...for this recipe if u can combine this and the Alba fake shake to reduce the points?  I would take out the cup of FF milk and use the 1/4 cup powdered milk and 8oz of water instead, then go ahead and use everything else. Does the pudding mix add points?  Doing it my way, it should come out to no more than 2 points? The alba fake shakes are only 1 point. **Sharyn** "If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane!" ~ Jimmy Buffet  SW: 169 CW: 161 GW:

Pandorra 10 Posted September 12, 2006 I just made this and it was great.  I didn't do anything fancy, just used FF milk, SF/FF choc pudding, a splash of Davinci Choc syrup, a packet of equal (I like my stuff sweet) and 2 tblsp of FF cool whip. I added 2 tsps of canola oil to get my healthy oil in and I couldn't taste the oil at all.  I used 7 ice cubes so it wasn't too thick.  this was as good if not better than the WW smoothie or Alba powered stuff. **Sharyn** "If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane!" ~ Jimmy Buffet  SW: 169 CW: 161 GW:
Christyn238 10 Posted September 13, 2006 This is incredible. I have it for breakfast. I am not any happier than when I am eating ice cream and this is as good as any milkshake I have ever had. How can I have a bad day when I have "ice cream" for breakfast? I have been adding the fruit which is incedible but now I will add the oil too. Guest MeAgain Posted September 22, 2006 This is really, really good. I'm going to try the oil too. I did the low fat thing for years and just got fat. But it did teach me to hate oily foods. I have a really hard time with the good oil. I hate to even stirfry with oil. Â My 16 yr. old daughter does this for breakfast and sometimes as her afternoon snack. And we haven't tried the syrups. We've just used vanilla because it was all we had on hand.
Pandorra 10 Posted September 22, 2006 As long as u use something fairly tasteless like Canola oil, you really can't tell the oil is in the smoothies. I count on these for a milk serving and my oils, since I won't cook in oil either.  Don't use Olive Oil, though, for this, you can taste it! LOL  And, as much as I'd like to take the credit, I got the idea from either my WW leader or someone else on this board, I just can't remember who. **Sharyn** "If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane!" ~ Jimmy Buffet  SW: 169 CW: 161 GW:

ek225 10 Posted October 12, 2006 I made one the other day with lemon pudding and frozen blueberries. It was yummy (and got in a fruit serving). Â A question: does anyone put protein in their shakes? I checked out some protein powders and they are about 2 points per scoop. I'm thinking about adding them into my shakes in the morning and just wondered what (if anything) others were doing? ek225 10 Posted October 27, 2006 Update: I have tried a scoop of protein powder in mine for the past week, and it's great. My powder is vanilla flavored, but with the Davinci syrups, you can't really taste the protein. YUM. I had it at 8am and I'm still not hungry (at 10:45am). Erin It's time to fight and focus.
