BarbA 10 Posted April 19, 2006 http://www.calorieking.com/foods/search.php?keywords=bison&showresults=yes  Calorie King has great data base of just about every food!  Pan broiled ground bison = 3.1 oz = 207 calories, 13.2 fat; 0 fiber m= 5.2 Points. If anything is added to it (cheese, egg, etc) it would add points. Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out.  Barb A
amycate 10 Posted April 19, 2006 Thanks Barb! I knew it was supposed to be leaner then hamburger, but wasn't sure how much. Calorie King is a great resource. Thanks for the tip.  Amy Amy  4/25/06 made 10% and WW goal 5/30/06 Lifetime Original SW 154.4 SW after 2nd Baby 181.2 CW 181.2 WWG 137.0 PWG 135.0
DES2 10 Posted April 20, 2006 I did the WW slide rule with the nutrition info on the ground bison package I get, and it came out to 1 point per ounce -- like chicken white meat. I love bison -- it's a lifesaver for this red meat lover! 189.8 /140/140 /pg135 Maintaining since 5/18/
