NJB 0 Posted May 19, 2006 Morning! Â So I decided to pick up some ground turkey meat. I love making the patties for work. I just put spices in it and then bake them. But I counted the points on the back of the carton and I figured its abot 6 points for 4oz of turkey meat. Does that make sense? That is a lot? Â Any help would be great! red-d-2-lose 10 Posted May 19, 2006 It depends on the percentage of fat in the turkey, Ground turkey breast is the leanest. Some brands grind up the skin with the meat too, which increases the calories April HW 370/CW 307.4/ GW 150 http://redd2lose.webs.com/ My Blog and Website TEAM RED
MelHub 10 Posted May 19, 2006 Always go by the caloric information on package. As red said some the Ground Turkey Meat places grind up skin and cartilage with the turkeymeat itself which increases the calories.
