Chocolate Frozen Drops

1c oatmeal

1 can ff evaporated milk

1 package sf/ff chocolate pudding

 

Make the pudding then add the oatmeal. Drop in blobs on wax paper and freeze.

So, are these supposed to be like frozen cookies???

 

Also, how many ounces is in a standard can of evaporated milk?

I made these tonight.. and I'm not sure I like them.. when you freeze them they are a little hard to eat, but if you let them thaw a little the pudding turns back into puddingy state.

 

I used a 12 oz can of evaporated milk I believe... I already threw the can in the dumpster... I'm not sure if that's the original recipe calls for it didn't say.

Dumb question, but, you make the pudding using the evaporated milk?

I may not have followed directions correctly...

 

I just put everything in a bowl and stirred it then dumped them in drops on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.

I would allow the oats to soften in the mixture for a bit before freezing, I think this might help with texture. And I'd probably use quick oats, not old fashioned.
