High Protein Eating

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone- I haven't posted for a while but I was wondering if anyone has been doing the WW Higher protein plan? I'm in need of some information on how you calculate your AP and FP into this plan? I earn between 4-7 AP's on a daily basis and don't want to lose them, but I am not quite sure how they figure in. If anyone could give any insight into this and let me know what is working for you I would really appreciate it. Thanks ~

HIGHER PROTEIN:

Fruits&Veggies - 0-1 points

Fats - 2-4 points

Dairy - 4-6 points

Complex Carbs - 5-6 points

Protein - 9-11 points

Is the general guidelines. What you use your APs for (which you don't have to use) is up to you but if you were eating a higher protien I would go for proteins and stay away from the carbs.

This shows points from 20-28 points a day.

I used the high protein sheet a week ago and lost 6 lbs. that week. I'm not using it this week, but I'll give it a try for a bit again soon.It worked well as I've been going up and down, up and down.

Hi Slim - wave.gif

I am doing the higher protein plan & like it. My cravings have subsided, I have more energy & I am satisfied with what I eat. Snacking has virtually stopped & I have been on a losing streak.

thumbup.gif I would highly suggest the higher protein eating to anyone sensitive to carbs or those wanting to get the refined food out of their systems.

After speaking to my medical doctor and doing some additional research it appears that there are some serious health issues with following protein only diet plan .

Please refer to the following article from the mayo clinic : https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/expert-answers/high-protein-diets/faq-20058207
