Burger Trick!

I LOVE burgers on the grill - using the food processor shred/chop carrots, onions, mushrooms (really any favorite veggies will work) and then add them to the meat mixture. I use 93-95% lean ground beef or Lean Turkey Burger and it makes a healthy and very yummy burger to throw on the grill. If you have kids --- it is a good way to sneak in some more veggies! ALWAYS a good thing!!

This is a great little trick... if only I took after my son and liked veggies as much as he does (then I wouldn't need tricks like this to get my veggies in) - lol.

I always do this with my meatloaf, makes it much more moist as I tend to always overcook meat. I never thought of doing this with my burgers too...great idea! Thanks!! :bcb_up
