Amy, Let me get back with you after this weekend. I haven't done this one for almost a year. I know I've read people say she uses bad form but I don't recall anything dangerous. It's just the porn star voice and cheese moves that bug me.

 

Penny, Congrats on finding a TF. I hope you love them as much as we all do.

Oh Firmies...please tell me the choreography gets easier the more you do the Ultimate Calorie Blaster??? :bcb_confuI felt like a stumbling fool tonight and I'm not usually that bad co-ordination wise. I lost count how many times I hit rewind to try it again. Oh well, it can only better right?

 

I'm workout number 5 into the Firm and am really enjoying it. I don't believe I have ever sweated like I do with these work outs. I can sure feel it the day after but I'm being cautious about using weights for lower body but I think the next work out I'll add some light ones.

It does get easier. Have you read the FAQ on the Reference Info Sticky? Before you know it, you'll wonder why everyone says it's so tough.

Pam, I know what you mean about the sweat! I only did the 15 min Firm video on our cable system today! I did walk 20 min before that, but the sweat didn't start POURING until I go to the Firm.

 

I loved the moves today. I can tell it will take me sometime to get used to the moves. I used to do a lot of those moves with classes at the gym, so it was coming back pretty fast for me today.

 

I'm going to wait and start with the new videos on Monday. I want my rest day to fall on Sunday and I don't think I can get it that way unless I wait until then. I'll watch the DVDs a few times and continue to use the 15 FIRM segment on OnDemand along with something else the rest of this week.

Pam - it really does get easier - I've gotten to the place in some of the workouts when I call out the steps with the instructor!

 

I wanted to do my Strong Bear workout last night, but for some reason it wouldn't play on my DVD player in my family room. :mad: It plays fine on the one in my garage gym, but man, it was 90 degrees in there! So I did Push-Pull instead.

Joanne....about The FirmBeliever's Club...do you like it? Is it worth the money? I thought about trying their 30 day free trial.

 

Do you have the BSS2 that uses the stick? I've always been curious about the stick workouts.

Penny, I like the club and I think it's worth it, but I have a lot of friends over there that make it worth while. Some people don't find it worth the money. You can always try it and cancel if you don't think it's worth it. Just be sure to cancel in time or they will charge your cc.

 

I have all the workouts (except one and it's on its way :D) I do like the BSS2 with the stick. Total Sculpt and CAWT are a couple of my favorites. Tough but fun and effective.

Thanks, I may join a little later toward the end of summer. I'm paying for the pool at the Y right now.

 

Where do you order most of your Firm videos from? I was looking at some on Collage Video....some of them were ones that I used to do 8-10 years ago! LOL You can sure see a difference in the style of workout wear! :bcb_grin

I got a lot of my older ones at used bookstores and on ebay. Overstock.com and deepdiscount.com have a lot of FIRMs for $8-15

Hi everyone - even though I 'came back' a couple of days ago, I'm afraid I won't be Firming (or any other formal exercise) for a week. I'm off to Walt Disney World with my family until the 22nd. I really need a vacation and I'm the biggest Disney nut so I know it will be fun.

The FIRMie gods have smiled upon me. My collection is finally complete. Ballroom Aerobics arrived today. I completely lucked out and found someone getting rid of all their VHSs that only wanted postage for it. I just saw one go for almost $60 on ebay. I still can hardly believe it! I'm a very happy FIRMie. love.gif

Busted! :D There are 4 (including BA) that I haven't done but I'm doing BA today. Maybe I'll sneak in a segment from each of the 5 day tapes to get it down to 1. Love working from home. ;)

 

Hmmm, I see a theme with the Abs. Maybe that explains the jelly belly.

I'm not trying to be a wet blanket but I'm a little disappointed with the stuff with the new kit. And I'm irked that they are saying "Synergy training".

 

I'm not condemning them but I think it makes it just another workout on the infomercial channel to have it look the same as the others with the gimmicky catch-phrase.

 

I know the Firm works and it's serious exercise, they don't need gimmicks.

I'm not too worried about the marketing phrases. It's a business. They have to do what they think will sell. What I'm excited about is how excited the MIs are about these new workouts. They are saying they are tough effective workouts and I think my knees will be happy there is no step work. As much as I love the Tall Box Climb (crazy I know) my knees are starting to tell me they are old.
