We're settled into another Embassy Suites, this one by the San Francisco airport. Great exercise room next to the pool but the place if full of screaming kids (spring break we think) and so the pool is useless to us until 10 at night when there is an adult swim. Unfortanately, that's past our bedtimes!

On the plus side, there is a gorgeous walking path along the Bay right outside the door of the hotel so I'm hoping to get a walk in daily, even if it is only 20 minutes a day. The sunshine and warm weather is such a welcome relief to home (and Baltimore!)

When sketching out the plan for the week I'm not sure if I'll get much exercise in on Friday or Saturday due to our traveling so will start the week off strongly.

thumbup.gif Sunday: 33 min on the exercise bike followed immediately by a 15 minute brisk walk along the waterfront. Stroll along the beach later in the day but total steps was only 8400.

thumbup.gif Monday: 50 minutes on the machines, 8200 steps. Covert Bailey's home resistence training workout.

sleep.gif Tuesday: Nothing formal, just a few short (6 min) walks and 8800 steps in total.

thumbup.gif Wednesday: 24 minutes walking, 10,600 steps

ugh.gif Thursday: Covert Bailey's resistence workout but only 5000 steps and no proper workout.

ugh.gif Friday: Travel day (breakdown and fly out on the red-eye) Managed 8600 steps

 Saturday: No sleep (had a glass of OJ poured on me while I dozed and I couldn't sleep after that because I was upset.) Travel otherwise went flawlessly but I only did 5000 steps and I'm too tired to work out.

It wasn't a great week. I know my weight is up (can feel it in my clothes) because while I ate lots of fruit and veggies while I was away, I also ate lots of not-so-good stuff. Next week will be a challenge week to lose these extra pounds and get back to goal.

On the plus side, we stopped at a store on the way home and bought some fruit and lots of veggies so I can start with lower points tomorrow morning first thing.

I'm back again for another week of exercising. Last week went well and I know I can keep this up. A little windy to head out for a walk today. I don't feel like getting pelted with dirt and sand from the desert. Hopefully I'll get out there sometime this week if the wind dies down.

tongue.gif Sunday: unscheduled day off.

:D Monday: WATP 3 mile w/ weights

:D Tuesday: Walking 30 minutes

:D Wednesday: WATP Express 4-mile

sleep.gif Thursday: scheduled day off

:D Friday: Swimming 45 minutes

tongue.gif Saturday: unscheduled day off but got a lot of cleaning done today.
