nessa81 10 Posted March 16, 2008 Hey everyone, I just have a quick question for you guys. When you weigh meat, do you weigh the meat before or after it has been cooked? I have the WW scale that I use everyday and I just didn't know how to weigh the meat either raw or cooked on it. Thank you for your advice in advance.  Nessa A journey of a 1,000 miles MUST begin with a single step!!    Sw: 235.0lbs CW: 242.lbs GW: 170.0lbs
*WWDonna* 0 Posted March 16, 2008 WW uses the weights for meats COOKED. There is a 4/3 rule that you can use if you need to weigh meat raw. 4 oz of raw meat will equal 3 oz of cooked meat. mahjong 0 Posted March 17, 2008 If I'm using it in a recipe, I weigh it raw and then divide the recipe into the number of servings. If the meat is plain, I weigh it after it is cooked.
