Recommended Posts

I really like PB2 and I got an email about Chocolate PB2 this week. I was wondering if anyone here was going to order it?

Someone talked about this at my meeting this week. I just bought a jar of the regular PB2 from someone but havent tried it. I want to get some one point bread to put it on. Does the chocolate have more points?

Does it have sugar in it? I would imagine so...kind of like Nutella?

You could make your own with: PB2, unsweetened cocoa powder, healthy oil (if you wanted to use some), or liquid, and some sweetener that you could choose/count.:salut

May you be happy. May you be well. May you be free from suffering.

This is what Bell Plantation's web site said about it.

Chocolate PB2

printButton.png emailButton.png The same great PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter, but with just enough chocolate to make it a delectable, guilt-free spread when mixed with water. Delicious on graham crackers, fruit, “salty” crackers, as cupcake icing, ice cream topping, and in smoothies. These are but a few of the uses for this chocolaty, satisfying treat.

  • Chocolate PB2 is made with premium quality peanuts that are slow-roasted to our specifications and pressed to remove the fat.
  • Premium quality cocoa powder is then mixed with the regular PB2.
  • All natural with no artificial sweeteners, colors, or preservatives.
  • Same consistency as full-fat peanut butter after mixing.
  • More than 85% less fat calories than regular full fat peanut butter!

  • Directions: Just mix 2 tablespoons of Chocolate PB2 with 1 tablespoon of water and stir until smooth.
  • Stay posted to our Product Recipe Page for upcoming customer-submitted recipes using Chocolate PB2!

I just saw the regular PB2 at my local grocery store (HyVee) in the health food section for about $5.00. I did not realize it was powdered! Is this really good? I'm all for trying something new, because I have been craving PB lately. But the fact that it is powdered and you have to mix it with water throws me off. It is worth it?

It sounds really good, I might have to give it a try. I'm about ready to order some new jars anyway!

AshleyRae - I was a little skeptical about the PB2 but it is good and I am not even a huge peanut butter fan. Yesterday I had a 2 point Peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch and it was good. I actually bought sugar free grape jam (10 calories a tablespoon) but I would have sugar free strawberry next time. I would like to try the Chocolate PB2 - my Italian in-laws and my European students eat Nutella on bread all the time.

I don't think it had very much actual chocolate flavor. You're probably better off adding your own cocoa or SF choc syrup.
