Lfia525 10 Posted February 9, 2009 Last night, after I went up to bed, my kids made a little surprise for me. With so many others in the house we always have food porn around. Most of the things I'm OK with, but others are really hard to resist . Things like cookies, peanut butter, crackers, chips, seem to call my name from deep in the pantry. After my workout, while straightening up the kitchen, I went to the pantry. There, taped to all my "weaknesses" was that little guy named Hungry! They said they couldn't find an image on the computer, so they used an old Bugs Bunny character, that looks similar. Here he is~ Â Now when I feel like I HAVE to have something I shouldn't, I can open the door and yell at Hungry instead! *Linda* Â SW- 168 Â CW- 140 Â GW-

Bridgethemom 10 Posted February 9, 2009 It sure helps when THEY help like that !! Kind of like walking down to my exercise room last summer at 4 AM and finding 83 cut out hearts taped to the walls-one for every pound I had lost so far. Nice when they take the time to acknowledge what you are doing and they support it !! Good kids, Linda ! Bridget SW 230 CW 151.8:bcb_march GW
KimberleyW 0 Posted February 9, 2009 Awww, how great that they're supportive. Though I think they're doing it so that you don't touch their stash!! LOL Kimberley

Lfia525 10 Posted February 9, 2009 I have to admit, I laugh every time I go into the pantry . They also added a "monster" to the front of the fridge that says~ MAKE GOOD CHOICES OR I WIN!~ He sure catches my eye and makes me think before I grab something! *Linda* Â SW- 168 Â CW- 140 Â GW-
misscole 10 Posted February 10, 2009 Linda, You are a lucky mom!! You have thoughtful, sincere.. caring children! You did a fantastic job!  ...I thought Hungry looked a bit familiar!! You know, besides in the general context of trying to kick his furry orange (hey.. orange is a filling food... but I'm sure not furry ones...) butt!  Again, congratulations on a job well done! I am not defined by the number, but how healthy my body is! 2 teach is 2 touch 4 ever  ~*Nicole*~
