Ankles

Recommended Posts

So I have been doing my exersize program for about 4 weeks now. The last time I worked out during cardio my ankles hurt really bad and then my knees started to hurt. I mean to the point I had to stop exersizing for the day. Any Ideas?

Thanks In Advance

Da shoes, da shoes, da shoes. The first rule is to blame da shoes. I'll bet they're old and worn. It all starts from the ground up and if your shoes are flat and tilted from excess wear they're going to hurt you. Now, if they aren't, you've got a bio-mechanical problem and maybe need orthotics or something.

Well I just bought brand new Newbalance cross training shoes. I will use some inserts and see how that works.

Thanks for the advice:bcb_grin

are you doing a lot of side to side movement?

Also, strengthening your ankles is a good idea. Stand on one leg when you do curls or practicing putting on your shoes and socks standing up. It's hilarious and also very good at building ankle strength.
