Jane Fonda's Low Impact Aerobics video (gotta love the big hair and leopard-print outfits): ~45 minutes

 

First time doing the entire video. I could hear you all cheering me on :bcb_up

Woke up with a REALLY sore throat. "Called in sick" for hydrofit class and instead ended up doing 30 minutes of the 30 Day Shred (level 1 plus some things on my own). I upped the intensity of things as best I could, and just FYI this had me burning about 130 calories for the whole 30 minutes. (and my HR was highest when I was doing "my own thing" after the DVD)

 

Just an AP reality check for those who work out without a HRM and wonder if they are overestimating APs....(probably:bcb_wink3)

 

Don't get me wrong. I think 30 Day Shred is a great workout and activity isn't ALL about burning calories. Building muslce helps us burn calories ALL DAY LONG....but just be careful in calculating APs!
