Took my usual spinning class but had a sub and she worked our butts off. Great way to start the week. I might walk thru a show later. Sometimes late afternoon if I want to watch some TV show (Real Housewives or What Not to Wear i put on my pedometer and walk around my family room during the show. Usually get in 3 miles or at the least 2 1/2.

That IS an excellent idea! You must have a large area. We have a dinky TV room. I would be bumping into the furniture. But I COULD do ab crunches, etc.

 

I do have a few "guilty pleasures" on TV that I could EARN like that...:bcb_bravo

The room is set up so the sectional couch is in the middle with a tile walkway behind it so I walk around the couch. I usually do it in addition to a more intense workout so I don't feel the need to run or worry about my heart rate too much. But i figure it is better than sitting and watching!
