L: leftover chicken tenders and mashed potato

S: ff yogurt & drizzle of honey (1 pt)

D: blackened swordfish kabobs, spinach salad (spinach, mushrooms, ff shredded cheese, sliced hardcooked egg (turkey bacon bits on DF's), lowfat dressing (1 pt)

D: baked haddock, potato, green beans, cole slaw (at friends house, add 5 pts (to be safe) b/c I know there was butter and cheese in the potatoes and I don't think the cole slaw was SiFi)

B: oatmeal w/ banana, ff milk, sf maple syrup and 1 TBSP wheat germ

S: clementines

L: ff cottage cheese w/ mandarin oranges, hardcooked egg, tomato soup

S: probably none b/c we will probably have an early supper before we get on the road to NH for the weekend

Saturday:

L: lean beef burger on ww roll (pt) w/lettuce, tomato and pickle, carrot sticks on the side

S: going to an apres-ski party so will have cut-up veggies there (hoping the hostess serves them - she usually does!!)

D: don't know, going to a potluck so I'll have salad (bringing a little container of evoo and vinegar) and whatever looks best point-wise (Edited to add that I know I will eat what I'm bringing!!! SiFi Vegetable Fried Brown Rice (with egg)!!!)

L: tuna salad and avocado sandwich on high fiber ww bread (2 pts), unsweetened applesauce

S: tossed salad and a few olives

D: french onion soup (no crouton for me, though, just soup and ff mozzarella), tossed salad

this is my planned menu for today - eating my breakfast right now

 

B- muesli (this is so yummy!- recipe below)

L-split pea & ham soup, carrot & celery sticks dunked in ff ranch dressing

S-popcorn

D-pork chops - baked with barbeque sauce (count wpa's), corn on the cob, cauliflower

S-popcorn or some muesli, probably the latter :)

 

Recipe for muesli -

 

1 quart ff plain yogurt

1 pkt ff/sf instant cheesecake pudding mix

1 small bag of frozen strawberries

2 tbsp vanilla extract

2 cups oatmeal (uncooked), use old fashioned or steel cut

couple packets of splenda (to taste)

mix all of this really well. Refrigerate overnight. You can vary the fruit, next time I am going to try a bag of mixed berries. There are lots of variations on this, I made it with what I had on hand and it turned out really good.

my planned menu for Tueday 1/26/10

 

B-muesli (I love this stuff, it's a nice break from my "regular" oatmeal)

L-leftover teriyaki pork tenderloin, cauliflower, side salad with ff ranch

S-94% ff microwave popcorn

D-Spaghetti (whole wheat) and meatballs (homemade Core/SiFi)

S-ff/sf pudding with a dollop of ff cool whip (I use zero points worth, so I don't have to count this)
