Flavorful Pita Pizza


1 large Pita (I use Aladdins white pita - 3 pts, 180 cals)

1/2 C Ragu pizza sauce

1/4 C Athena reduced fat feta

1/4 C Healthy Choice shredded mozzerella

1 tbs fresh thyme

Fresh mushrooms, sliced

1 Healthy choice breakfast link sliced into medium-thin rounds


Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.


Spread the pizza sauce on the pita

Sprinkle the thyme over the sauce

Sprinkle the mozzerella over the sauce

Scatter the Healthy Choice "sausage" pieces on top

Add mushroom pieces

Sprinkle feta on top


Bake at 450 degrees for about 10 minutes or until pita is crispy


Serving size: the whole thing is 8 points



1. Obviously you can use whatever ingredients you want! There

are many variations to pita pizzas.

2. The Ragu sauce is not marked as low fat or anything but

actually is. And tasty, too!

3. The Healthy Choice breakfast links are lower in fat than Boca

Burger or Morningstar equivalents, but they didn't have a strong

flavor. You can leave out the link and save a point.

4. I like the mozzerella because it makes the pizza look more like

a traditional pizza- but if you leave it out you'll save a point.
