Hey buddies..

 

Sorry I haven't been around - I have been busy and there is a promotion going on and I have the potential to win $200. I am in the lead right now and I really need the money, so I will be AWOL for a little bit longer. I miss you girls and I am still OP. Had some slips, gave myself kicks and I am back on track now. Hopefully I can pop in sometime this week, but i Will be back next week for sure.

Hola Lovely Ladies :)

 

I did lovely this weekend. I did mess up once but then I hugged the porcelain god all night thanks to mixing wine and vodka (not a good idea). So it got rid of it all. I'm maintaining right now. I'm so busy getting prepared for my TX trip on Thursday. I won't be around much at all. I am OP as much as I can. Not tracking 100% but eating healthy and making good choices. When I get back from TX I'll be hardcore again. Love yall!!! xoxoxo

Good morning buddies! Where is everyone?? I had an okay day yesterday, I ended up using more flex than I really wanted but today is a new day,plus we have a planned walk during lunch with the other members of the walking club, should be fun :)

Hi Friends,

 

Sorry for being MIA. I had a great weekend (you can see all my food on my blog) but then I weighed myself on Monday morning and saw a RIDICULOUSLY high number. I'm feeling really defeated and annoyed so I don't have much of a peppy attitude right now. I'm am 100% focused to make that number go away. Don't worry, it's not leading to sabotage I just don't really know where the giant gain came from. And even more annoying is that it came before a weekend at the beach... with DH's skinny sisters... UGH!

 

Regardless, I'm POP today with plenty of exercise. I'll be fine. Just irritated.

 

In happier news, I got a spinning class! I got called today to take over a 5:45am spin class at the LA Fitness that is about 20 minutes from my office. It's not the one closest to my home but it'll work out just fine. The sad thing is, I'm taking it over indefinitely while the instructor who typically teaches it recovers from a horrific accident. When I think about that, I realize the number on my scale isn't such a big deal...

Sorry for being MIA. I needed to take some time away from the boards and let myself focus on me for awhile. I've got a lot going on personally, but I know that I need the support that you ladies give me.

 

I weighed in this morning at 161.8 (so +.8 up from last week). I know that some of my habits are not letting me lose weight, so I'm focusing this week on making the best decisions. We stocked up at the store last night and I've got plenty of items to keep me OP.

Karen- Congrats on landing the position! Too bad about the other instructor though. What time do you have to wake up to make it to the gym in time for the class? I wouldn't worry about the increase on the scale, could it be that you had a lot of sodium over the weekend?

 

Theresa- (((hugs))) I hope everything is okay.

 

Marla-Hang in there buddy! Hope your body starts adjusting to the meds soon!

 

I started walking again during lunch and will be out again today, the weather is beautiful :) now just to find a way to walk around all those pesky tourists...Have a great day everyone!!

Sofi - great job adding walks into your lunch hour. It's great to fit them in where you can. Anywhere you can escape to away from tourists?

 

Theresa - you know I love you and am only an email/FB message away!

 

AFM: My class went well this morning. I have to get up at 4:30am to get there and get set up in time for the 5:45 start. The people in the class seemed really great. I couldn't tell how much they like me but they'll just have to get used to me I think. I was told that the instructor that I'm taking over for was a competitive cyclist so I bet her classes were ridiculous. Nothing like living up to a big example. Oh... and I forgot to bring my towel with me when I packed my gym bag. After the workout I had to shower and towel off with one of those mini workout towels and then change in the shower. I'm not someone who can walk around nude in the locker room!

Karen- Glad to hear that your class went well! I will be trying to squeeze in another walk today, but it's impossible to find a spot w/out tourists, lol, I work in downtown Manhattan so everywhere you go, there are people walking around, esp. around Battery Park there is always a huge line of ppl waiting to visit the Statue of Liberty, oh well :)

 

I am really trying to stick to the 10 day food challenge, but the whole eating a very light dinner is not easy....HAve a great day everyone!!

Hey ladies. I just wanted to stop by and let you all know I'm still alive! I took Friday off from work and I'm on vacation this week so I won't be around. We spent the weekend at the lake and I got sunburned! I'm still recuperating right now. We're getting ready to go to Lowe's and get some paint and other stuff to fix some things around the house, so I plan on being busy the next few days. I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend! :)

Hey everyone!

 

I just thought I'd join in the conversation if that's ok! I'm trying to make visiting the message boards a regular thing to keep me focused and talking to people. I'm feeling pretty good about today. I plan on going to the gym here in a few hours, and it's my first weigh in since I started back on WW last week. I'm hoping for some good results. I'll take any number as long as it's a loss!

I'm back from my vacation. Actually, I was back yesterday but I was so swamped with all the jobs that my co-workers left for me to do that I didn't even get to take my full lunch. I hate coming back from vacation! How is everyone doing?

Hey Ladies. Sorry I haven't been around. I went to TX and had a great trip, but of course was off plan the whole time and now finding it so hard to get back on. I tried to do low carb last week just to jump start myself, but ended up going crazy and binging. So, I started fresh this week and AF shows up and she is a doozy this month...I'm cramping, I have a headache and I CAN NOT stop eating. Seriously I have ate non stop since Tuesday am....it's pitiful. No matter what I eat, I am not full. I keep eating fiber one stuff and nothing helps. I'm doing my best to not binge and to at least eat WW friendly items. I'm hoping by next week to be ready 100%. Ugh....hate being a woman today.

Hi ladies, I've missed you.

 

Lots has happened since I last checked in:

 

*DBF and I are moving into our house THIS weekend. We've spent many weekends cleaning and updating it. I can't believe the day is finally so near. We've been packing and cleaning the apartment to get ready. We have so much stuff!

 

*My last day at work is tomorrow, and it hasn't really hit me quite yet.

 

*My dad is having his cardiac cathaterization test today. If the doctors think that he is in danger, they will do the surgery today, rather than wait until the scheduled date that is later this summer. My mom is keeping my sister and I updated via text and I'm awaiting her next response.

 

I've been stressed, to the say the least, lately with everything going. I haven't been tracking or counting, but I've maintained over the past few weeks with some challenges thrown in there. When I move to the house, I might start going to meetings with my cousin and aunt for some extra accountability.

 

I miss you ladies. When we get internet at the house, I hope to be more active on here... seeing as I won't have a job or a car :)

 

I hope everyone is doing well. Please check in when you can... I think we all need this.

Hi ladies. I know I haven't checked in here for a while and I'm sorry for that. There's been a lot going on. We've been super busy at work, my body pain started to return at the beginning of June, and I just found out yesterday that I have a Cholesteatoma in my right ear. The doctor says that I'll need to see an Ear Nose and Throat specialist and have surgery or I'll go deaf in my right ear. My other doctor thinks I have a food allergy that's causing the body pain I've been dealing with for forever. When the pain came back, I got so upset and I haven't been on plan since my vacation week at the very first of June. I just can't seem to find my motivation anymore. I know I've gained, but I can't force myself to get on the scale to see how much. I'm really going to try to start on Monday. I'm trying to psych myself up for it. Wish me luck!

 

Theresa - Congrats on moving into your house! How did the move go? I hope everything is good with your dad! (((hugs)))

 

Liz - I'm sorry you had such a bad AF when you got back from Texas. Did you end up getting back on plan? How's your DD doing? I know her dad had her for a while and you were missing her. I hope things are good with you!

 

Karen - I was reading your blog, but I haven't seen any posts on there in a while. How are things with you? I hope everything is okay!

 

Trish - Where are ya sweetie? I hope everything is going well with you!

Are any of you ladies still around? I miss you all so much! I'm finally back on WW. After not being on WW at all for 2 months I managed to gain 25.2 lbs! I was SO shocked when I stepped on the scale and saw that yesterday morning. Not to mention depressed. I'm POP now and I'm going to stick to it. I have a vacation coming up in August, but I'm not going to let it affect my weight loss. That was my mistake before and I'm not doing that again. I hope some of you are still around the boards. I miss you guys!

(HUGS) on the gain. Shocking, isn't it? I was on-and-off of counting for the last 1.5 months too and am up 11lbs! So disgusting. But I'm back. I'm not ready to dedicate myself to a regular thread, but I'll be popping in every now and then.

 

Where are you going on vacation?

I am here!! I need to up my water despartely but I have lost. I actually saw 199.8 on the scale last week but I've blown that. Weighed in at 202.5 at the Dr.'s office but I know it's up from TOM and bad food choices so I"m not getting on again unti next Wednesday when this is all done. I am determined to be POP!!

Karen - Yes, it is shocking! I just get in these funks every so often where I feel like it's unfair that I have to count points and obsess over food all the time in order to even maintain. I know I need to just face the fact that I am going to have a weight problem for life if I don't stick with Weight Watchers. I absolutely CANNOT eat whatever I want to eat when I want to eat it. I have to at least think about it some.

 

Marla - I'm glad you've been losing! I hate TOM too. I gain anywhere between 2 and 5 lbs during that time. I usually skip my WI if I've started within 3 days. I always wait until the next week. I'm sure that's not going with the WW rules, but I don't see the point in weighing in if I know I've gained from TOM. It's only going to get me depressed. I've been trying to up my water too. I love my coffee too much! I drink it from 7:30 until 12pm. It keeps me from eating since there aren't many things that taste good with coffee. LOL

I am soooo tired today. It's amazing how your body gets used to sleep. My 3yr old was WIDE awake at 4am. BOOOOO. But I'm downing the water to try and make it better. Plus I need it. That's my goal this week to back off the pop and get back on the water. It's AMAZING how much it helps my weight loss process.

 

Bianca - How you doing??? I know it's depressing to think you've constantly got to think about things. But I saw a picture of myself someone else took and that was MORE depressing!! So I'm gonna keep going!!

Sorry I haven't been around the last few days. Work is killing me. I don't get time to get on at work like I used to. I'm doing pretty good. Although, I do have a serious head cold now. Ugh. One side of my sinuses keeps stopping up. I wake up in the middle of the night because my nose has clogged in my sleep and I've started breathing through my mouth. Apparently, when I breathe through my mouth in my sleep it causes my mouth to dry out and my lips to crack open. It's a nasty feeling. Yuck! I seriously hope I get over it soon.

Marla- I know what you mean about the little ones waking up at the crack of dawn only on ur days off of course, lol, how did you do with your water intake today?

 

I have been exercising on a stationary bike the neighbor gave MIL for the past few days I wake up early and do about 30 minutes,and am watching what I eat, I need to get back on track! there is no excuse for going off plan! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

 

btw: Where are Liz and Trish?? miss you buddies, hope ur okay :bcb_bigsm
