Really general question, but I have to ask because my curiosity is killing me!

I see people with info in their sigs- SW, CW, GW.. I get those. Starting, current and goal weight. But then there are others that I have no idea what they stand for. Anyone care to enlighten me? :bcb_bigsm

PGW = Personal Goal Weight

What others did you see and need to figure out?

Made Lifetime 3/08/2000

Never since returned to starting weight... However, I have had to recommit from time to time... and get this back into order. This is NOT a diet, but a lifetime way of eating.

lol Good question. My mind seems to have gone blank as soon as I posted that, but I think there are two others I've seen besides PGW that have so far eluded me.

Also, since your sig just reminded me, what do you all mean by "lifetime"?

Official Lifetime is achieived when:

  • You attend meetings
  • You choose a goal weight within the range for your height (or bring in a note from your doctor if your goal falls outside the ranage)
  • You reach your goal weight
  • You go through 6 weeks of Maintenance and on the 6th week weigh in no more than 2 pounds over/under goal weight

Once you achieve Lifetime you:

  • Attend meetings free, as long as you weigh in at least once a month and are no more than 2 pounds over goal weight
  • Never pay a registration fee again (if you need to come back)
  • Are eligible to work for WWers

LOL! So many helpful abbreviations! A lot of these I know, its mostly just the ones related directly to this board that baffle me sometimes.

Luanne, very interesting on the Lifetime thing. Thanks!
