Newbie..starting today

Hi everyone...I just found this website! What I see on hear motivation! I have forty pounds to lose and I believe I can do because I see a lot of supporters...I am new to this..so if anyone can please help me out as where to begin on my journey, i would appreciate it. I started out good today with eating a healthy breakfast, cereal and milk... a salad for lunch and for dinner nothing..hot tea....look forward to meeting some great people on here...God Bless.....

Hi Nita. Welcome! You'll find a ton of great support on here. I would encourage you to NOT skip meals - part of doing Weight Watcher correctly is eating at least your daily points every day. For sustainable, long-term eating habit change, you need to make sure you are getting enough nutrition for your body! Food is fuel and you need to make sure you are getting what you need. If you don't, you'll find yourself hungry and probably going off-plan.

You will want to start out by reading the Sticky at the top of the Newbie Guidance part of the forum. Then go to the forum: The Training Manual. It's got tons of Stickies with great info.
