Recommended Posts

does cold cereal still need to be eaten with milk or yogurt to be simply filling? i cannot find a reference to that requirement anywhere, but i know on momentum that was the case.

I do not see that either and am assuming that, that rule is gone as well as the once a day rules. Be careful on the cereal as some of them are no long power foods now that the change in plans has come about. I just checked the power food list and don't see any on the list, but when I look in e-tools it have a few listed like Uncle Sam, and I think someone mentioned shredded wheat if it is the one with fiber. This is what I found in the front of the complete food guide for power foods:

Cereal - Ready to eat:

whole grain without added sugar, dried fruit or nuts and have 4 g of fiber.

Then listed in Breakfast section are:

shredded wheat

Simply fiber

simply fiber with cinnamon

Fiber one

Unfrosted bite size mini-wheats

Uncle Sam

That is all that is listed and then is with V7 corrections. Hope this helps.

Thanks! That is what I saw as well. I mostly eat Ezekial (the original one) and just tried Uncle Sam's Original. Without milk or yogurt it can get quite "snacky", so I have to be careful, but it appeared to me that the rules were gone. Just wanted to see if anyone else interpreted it the same way.

I lover Ezekiel but never have tried Uncle Sam's. I will have to look for it.

You are quite welcome too!
