Seems kinda ridiculous to have put that much effort into a site only to supply calories, not full nutritional values.



It's not enough to want it, you have to want it enough.

You have to remember, this is the USDA and not WW. Their goal is to get you to eat 2000 calories a day and have it be:


6 oz Grains

3 oz Whole Grains

2.5 cups Veggies

2 cups Fruit

3 cups Dairy

5.5 oz Protein


And, that's what this tool does - tells you if something has grains, veggies, fruit, dairy, and/or protein and how much of it.


If you want to think of it in a WW way, consider the fruits and veggies as fiber, the grains as carbs, and the dairy/protein as protein.

I think that works.
