What are you looking forward to?

Recommended Posts

In our weight watchers meeting two weeks ago, my leader asked what we were looking forward to when we reached our goal . . . there were so many great answers . . . One thing I'm looking forward to is not being embarrassed at award ceremonies when my child's name is called and I have to stand up in the audience . . . What are you looking forward to?

Being able to kiss my knees and run 5K races. All the comments from friends and loved ones about how much better I look - nice being a good example.

I am looking forward to. . .

- Putting on anything in my closet knowing that it will fit me and that I will look good in it.

- Living a longer, happier life because of my healthy choices.

- Having more energy to do fun things with my family and friends because I'm treating my body right.

- Not having to have a towel right by the edge of the pool to grab really quick and wrap around myself when I get out before anyone sees me. :bcb_grin

*Being able to paint my toenails easily

*Crossing my legs

*Wearing cute skirts again - and not feeling fat and frumpy in dresses

*Shopping in the misses' sizes again (Bye-bye Plus sizes!)

*Feeling good about my appearance - even when the cameras come out at gatherings

*Walking up flights of stairs without struggling and gasping for breath

*Riding my bike

I am at goal, but these are some of the things that I looked forward to, and have enjoyed.

Being able to cross my legs. This was huge for me.

I love that bones that were long hidden, surfaced. Such as hip bones and clavicles.

I love the feeling that eating healthy gives me.

I enjoy shopping now.

I enjoy knowing that my wardrobe does fit.

I can see that my self esteem has risen.

I enjoy wearing cute little skirts, and my Buckle jeans!

I finally got brave enough to wear a swim suit.

I could probably go on and on, but I will stop here. I love all the positive things that getting healthy and doing WW has done for me.
