desserts | These chewy, fudgelike cookies will melt in your mouth. Great news: They're one POINTS fewer per serving than the classic version!

Ingredients

1 serving cooking spray (5 one second sprays)

1 package devil's food cake mix, unprepared, use a 1 lb, 2.2 oz box

2 Tbsp reduced-calorie margarine

2 Tbsp water

2 large egg white(s)

1 large egg(s)

1/2 cup semisweet chocolate candy, chunks

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray.

Combine cake mix, margarine, water, egg whites and egg in a large mixing bowl. Beat on low speed until blended and smooth; fold in chocolate chunks.

Drop batter by heaping tablespoons, 2 inches apart, onto prepared baking sheet. Bake until puffed up and dry to the touch, about 10 to 12 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Yields 1 cookie per serving.

***I made these using a German Chocolate Cake Mix and 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips.. WOW! Even my DS's friends ask for these. I also got 48 small cookies for 1 point each. What a great treat, and there is just something more satisfying about eating 2 smaller cookies than one large one. Let your imagination run wild with the different combinations of cake mixes and chips too!

Wow I tried the same recipe and did the same thing. I couldnt bring myself to eat 2 point cookies so I made them smaller also. I used mini chocolate chips too, that way there was more choclate through them. Boy were they a hit with the whole family. Anyone got any more cookie recipes please send them my way. Need my cookies!!!!

OMG!!! These sound so good!!! I am waiting for the day when I can make cookies and have them in the house.

My will power won't allow it yet. The last time I tried, I had 2 point brownies and used up my points for my drinks that night. I'd planned all day for the wine I was going to have, but ended up not having it because I got to weak with the brownies.

Oh well, some day!
