Tater Tot Casserole?

Recommended Posts

This was really good. I added a can of mixed veggies and I put the tots on top of the casserole. I let it sit for about 10 minutes before serving and it was wonderful. It was even better the day after....and the day after that!!:D

This recipe has so many opportunities. I think I will add chopped broccoli and cream of broccoli soup and broccoli and cheese soup next time for a variation.

Yes, and low-fat sausage, and turkey stuffing. You can do so much with this recipe.

Thanks for the bump. I like making this w/ tomato soup, ground turkey, and hashbrowns for a variation of shepards pie. Yum!

I made this last week and forgot to post. My family really liked it. I made it with hash browns because I didn't have any tator tots at the time. I thought it was super easy and yummy! :bcb_smile

Here's how I made it: 8 Servings

1lb 93% Lean Ground Beef

1 can of 98% FF Cream of Mushroom soup

1 can of Cheddar Cheese Soup

1 Bag of Simply Potatoes Shredded Hashbrowns

1/2 Cup 2% Cheddar Cheese

Same directions and at the last 10 minutes add shredded cheese.

Calories: 238 Fat:8.8 Fiber:0.6

4pts w/o Cheese on top and 5pts with the cheese on top. I served mine along side pea's and it was wonderful! Throw the cheese on top its better with it and for 5pts its a yummo dinner.

I have some browned ground beef in the fridge .. this will be dinner tonight. I played with variations of the soups, and the creamed corn in Mastercook. the 4 point fiber cap was used in all my calculations, i just pulled the exact number over from the Nutritional analysis.

2 cans of green beans

1 T Worchestshire or 2 T soy sauce

I made the 3point per serving recipe this past weekend, except I took out the green beans and added mushrooms instead. I'm guessing it didnt really change the points value.

It was quite good, although a Little too bland for my tastes. Im thinking that perhaps some salsa or something else thrown it would make it better.

My b/f loved it, though!
