Broiled Honey-Glazed Pork Chops ~ 6 Points

Recommended Posts

Made this one for dinner tonight and it was really yummy ... you can also use the glaze for chicken or turkey, or add it to your favorite stir-fry. :D

BROILED HONEY-GLAZED PORK CHOPS

Courtesy of: Cooking Light Superfast Suppers

Serves: 4

Serving Size: 1 pork chop and 1 tbsp. sauce

Points per Serving: 6

1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

1/4 cup honey

2 tbsp. lemon juice

1 tbsp. stone-ground mustard

2 tsp. cornstarch

1 tsp. dark sesame oil

1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

2 garlic cloves, minced

4 4-oz. boneless center-cut loin pork chops, trimmed

Combine the first 8 ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer 2 minutes or until thick. Reserve 1/4 cup honey mixture; set aside.

Preheat broiler.

Brush both sides of pork with half of the remaining honey mixture. Place pork on foil-lined broiler pan coated with cooking spray. Broil 8 minutes on each side or until chops are done, basting chops with other half of remaining honey mixture after 4 minutes. Serve pork with reserved 1/4 cup honey mixture.
