Feta Spinach Pie-2=P

This is something new I made yesterday. It was delicious. Everyone here liked it. I served it for lunch.

Spinach & Cheese Caserole

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 cups Cottage cheese fat free

10 ounces spinach, frozen -- squeezed dry

1/2 cup feta cheese -- crumbled

cups egg beaters® 99% egg substitute

1/4 cup butter buds® -- liquid

3 tablespoons flour, all-purpose

2 tablespoons minced onion -- dried

salt & pepper to taste

 

Spray a 1-1/2 qt. casserole with pam.

In a large bowl, combine cottage cheese, spinach, feta cheese, egg

sub.,butter buds, flour & onion.

Mix well.

Transfer mix. to the casserole dish.

Bake, uncovered, in a 350 oven about 45 mins., or until center is almost

set.

This sounds great. But could you tell me how much egg substitute to use. I can't seem to see where that amount is listed. I will be sharing this with me. myself, and I as my DH is not much into Spinach. But that's fine with me! I have some tomato and herb feta that will be wonderful in this. Thanks.

Sorry, it is 3/4 cup egg beaters. I don't know what happened with this. I went back over to M/C to check it, and it was there, but did not transfer to here when I moved the recipe. Go figure?

 

I'm sorry it took me so long to see your post. I decided to check it out this a.m., because I am going to make it again this weekend. This time, however, I am going to add a teaspoon or so of lemon/pepper seasoning, just to jazz it up a little more. I'm always looking to improve every recipe I make.
