Bump! I want to try this and don't have a printer or time to copy out yet. Thanks Charski for the recipe, you have such good ones to share. Are you a Chef or in the trade of some sort?

Thanks, Char....This one looks great!!! I have tons of chicken CP recipes, but not a lot using beef. This will be nice for a change of pace after all the turkey. DH would probably give you a big kiss & hug for posting this one!

printing out......

This looks good! Does the point value include rice? I'm thinking it doesn't since it's not on the list of ingredients. Thanks for posting it!

Mo4, thanks for the nice compliments - no, I'm not a chef nor in the trade - I'm just food-obsessed! ;)

Koko, no, it does NOT include the points for rice. You'll have to add those in depending on what you choose and how much. Personally, I'll have it over bulgur, which is only 2 points per cup (as opposed to 4 points for a cup of rice).

Dawna, I know you don't eat beef, so I hope your gang enjoys this one!

Charski -- made this one today, and it was delish! I misread the part about adding the broccoli in 35-40 minutes before serving... had it in from the beginning, so it sorta disinigrated. (LOL) Ah well, it was still tasty! And dh didn't care since he didn't have to cook. (He knows the rule is eat what I cook, or fix your own. heh)

But I thought for white rice 1c=5 pts

brown rice 1c=4 pts

wild rice 1c=3pts

Am I off the mark?

Think this would work without the mushrooms? What would the points be without the mushrooms?

We can't have mushrooms due to allergies.

Leaving out Mushrooms would not subtract any points. They are 0 points.

Started this one in the Crockpot this morning before work. Finished it up when I got home. We just finished eating supper, it was fabulous and so easy! DH had his with brown rice, I had bulgur. He loved it! Well, both of us did.
