  1. I made it, and it IS a keeper..but when I put it into the Weight Watchers recipe builder I got 4 pts a serving. Which is still WAY better than "regular cake" and it tastes so good even non-weight watchers folks like it and will eat it.
  2. I haven't tried it yet... haven't had much chance to cook seriouly, much less something fun like desert. Thanks for running it through mastercook!
  3. Testing to see if I successfully loaded my team's banner into my siggy file.

  6. (sigh)... a .6 gain. Starting weight: 237.4 I weigh in on Sundays Oh well, if I had to have a gain at all, better at the beginning, right? TracyD
  7. My weigh-in is tommorrow... will post my starting weight right after I WI. I'm getting real excited about this challenge. TracyD
  8. Thanks! I had 1/2 of the bagel (no cream cheese) for breakfast... so I think I'll count 4 pts to be on the safe side. TracyD
  9. They're large, (I'm guessing New York style bagels)... sesame. I misplaced my book, so I'm coming to buds to check on the points... wanna be honest in my accounting! TracyD
  10. What exactly in involved with being team captain? I won't volunteer (yet), cause (1)you might already have your captains, (2) I don't know what's involved and (3) I don't know if the others would want a total NOOB as captain! lolz TracyD
  11. I don't have mastercook, so any help appreciated! Recipe courtesy of a friend (not sure where he got it originally) ******************************************** Blueberry Cheesecake Bars Ingredients Crust 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs 1/4 cup SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated 1/3 cup light butter, melted Filling: 12 ounces reduced fat cream cheese, softened 2/3 cup SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated 2 large eggs 1/3 cup reduced-fat sour cream 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 3/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries Topping: 1/4 cup reduced-sugar apricot preserves 1 tablespoon water Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an eight-inch square pan with vegetable cooking spray. Set aside. Combine graham cracker crumbs, SPLENDA® Granulated Sweetener, and butter, mixing well. Firmly press mixture evenly in bottom of prepared pan. Bake 5 minutes. Remove from oven; set aside. Beat cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add SPLENDA® Granulated Sweetener, beating until blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add sour cream and vanilla, beating just until blended. Gently stir in blueberries. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until firm. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes. Cover and chill 2 hours. Topping Directions: Combine apricot preserves and water in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until jam melts. Spread over filling; cut into bars.
  12. Giving this a bump so it doesn't get too lost!
  13. well team, considering the hard week I had, AND the fact that AF decided to visit (and she's being a rough guest this month) -- I'm reasonably pleased to have lost .4 this week.
  14. I am so sorry blue buds... I had a gain this week... +.6 so it could have been worse, but a gain is a gain! I had a challenging week for personal reasons... kids who don't sleep well equal parents that don't sleep well. And when I'm tired it is all too easy to not exercise and not be as careful on the choices. But we think we have a handle on getting the kids sleep under control, so things should get better....once I get past my own inertia! TracyD
  15. Argh! Up .6 this week. Sorry Blue team buddies! I don't even know why I registered a gain! Well, I'll just keep with the journaling, water and try and get 3 or more days of exercise again. Eventually the metal monster has to give in. TracyD
  16. Congratulations to red team...but Blue is gonna be gunning for the crown! (So is black, I'm sure!) TracyD
  17. I'm not sure if I'm figuring things out correctly or not... but it looks like red or blue won week 4. (by my calculations) TracyD
  18. Awesome BigT, sounds like you have the right mindset, a great support system..and more importantly: a PLAN! Welcome to the buddies! :salute: TracyD
  19. So which team won week 4? I iz confoozed. lol Tracy
  20. 21 min of aerobics on the Wii fit tonight! Go me! I'm focusing on aerobics for now...eventually I hope to add strength training and yoga... Tracy
  21. All right Blue team! Despite not exercising as much as I thought I should (like 3 days this week instead of my goal of 5)........I am pleased to report that I am DOWN 2.6!! (Snoopy dance) TracyD
  22. Caligurl - that up and down can be quite frustrating -- but i'd say it was good if the general trend is DOWN. You can do it, buddy! As for me... I had a frustrating/upset morning... my son is having a behavior issue at daycare and trying to work through it with the daycare. Its just hard and challenging because he is mild-to-moderatly autistic. Well, I was upset enough to skip my exercise -- even tho it probably would have HELPED the stress... but I am proud of myself for not using the stress as an excuse to overeat. That wouldn't have helped at all...and probably would have ended up ADDING stress because then I'd be PO'd at myself for going OffP. TracyD
  23. Great work! Can't wait to join you. I hope to be there in early 2009... Tracy
