  1. It would really help if you could get a TV in your bedroom. Walk Away the Pounds are great videos and require very little space. Also, maybe you could do some stretching exercises. Crunches in your bed. Do you have any weights? Maybe some simple weight lifting -- great exercise for the arms. If all else fails, there's the beautiful outdoors. Walking is great exercise and you don't need any special equipment.
  2. Thanks for all the great ideas. Warm weather is coming and I'll be making a lot of these. Bumpin' up!
  3. I'm pretty sure I've seen this brand at Smart & Final. Guess I'll have to give it a try. Thanks.
  4. Thanks for bumping -- just happen to have some Barilla Plus marcaroni too.
  5. Ha-Ha-Ha---- ROFL --- Ha- Ha-Ha. Oh. You were serious, weren't you. Sorry!
  6. I'm home this Saturday morning and I'm finally going to get around to making this. Can hardly wait after reading all the rave reviews. I think I will go ahead and add some cinnamon and nutmeg. I'll let you all know how it comes out! Well I gave it a try and I'll give this one a 2 thumbs up. I did add the cinnamon and nutmeg. And (for my taste) had to add a little more splenda sprinkled on top after it had cooked. And also poured a little FF Evaporated Milk on top. It was really, really good. Comfort food, for sure, and very easy to make. Now I need to wash my dishes. . .
  7. Just a caution. . .I recently learned that "No Sugar Added" and "Sugar Free" are two different things. "No Sugar Added" means that it still contains sugar, they just haven't added anything to it. I recently checked these fillings out at WalMart and I hope I remember this correctly, but I think they had anywhere from 11 to 16 grams of sugar. So these are not "Sugar Free" and they still have calories. Just thought you'd all want to know that. (I'm sure the points values for these recipes are still the same.)
  8. Hi Stacy! Thanks for all the great recipes. Looks like you're off to a great start on the program. Just wanted to say that I love all the Mrs. Dash Seasonings and like to add them to almost anything including my steamed veggies. Depending on the vegetable, sometimes a little bit of lemon juice is good, or a little bit of balsamic vinegar, also ICBINB spray.
  9. Thanks for bumping this up, Joanne. I keep meaning to give it a try. Have to remember to buy Cream of Wheat!
  10. FF Jalapeno Pringles are gr-e-a-t. I found them at WalMart but that's been some time ago. I snatched up 4 packs when I found them and still have a couple pkgs left since I started CORE.
  11. I love soup and am always on the lookout of new recipes (especially Core). I'm printing this out so I can make it this week-end. Thanks.
  12. 1 regular Tootsie Roll Pop = 1 pt. or/ 3 mini Tootsie roll pops = 1 pt. (This is great because you can spread them out throughout the day.
  13. One winter morning a couple was listening to the radio over breakfast. They hear the announcer say, "We are going to have 8 to 10 inches of snow today. You must park your car on the even-numbered side of the street, so the snowplows can get through." Norman's wife goes out and moves her car. A week later while they are eating breakfast again, the radio announcer says, "We are expecting 10 to 12 inches of snow today. You must park your car on the odd-numbered side of the street, so the snowplow can get through."Norman's wife goes out and moves her car again. The next week they are again having breakfast, when the radio announcer says "We are expecting 12 to 14 inches of snow today. You must park..." Then the power goes out. Norman's wife is very upset, and with a worried look on her face she says, "Honey, I don't know what to do. Which side of the street do I need to park on so the snowplows can get through?" With the love and understanding in his voice that all men who are married to Blondes exhibit, Normansays... Why don't you just leave it in the garage this time?"
