  1. I just finished the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Loved these books. I have read the Sookie Stackhouse series and really liked them. I am reading the Vampires in America series now, have read 3 of them they are good. Lol, can you tell I am totally into vampire books?? I don't even want to see how much money I have spent on Amazon buying kindle books, which is funny since I always said I didn't want an e-reader. Then my son gave me one for Christmas 2011 and I have been hooked. I have over 400 books on it and it is so great for traveling, so much easier than packing books. Jean
  2. I attended my 1st 360 meeting this morning. The only change that I saw was much more member participation. The leader didn't just stand up there and talk, she asked questions and encouraged everyone to talk about what works, and how they are staying OP. Jean
  3. I love the WW apps for my I-phone. It made it so easy when I shopping today, I just scanned the barcode and told me the points per serving. Then you have the option to track the serving. Jean
  4. I have not participated in this forum for a long time, however I have continued my weight loss journey. I have had the best success with weight loss with weight watchers, and Bootcamp buddies is a great place to get support and connect with people having the same issues. I am 15 pounds away from being under 200 pounds for the first time in 40 years. I had my 60th birthday in Oct. and I have battled my weight since I was 20 years old. I am going to continue to lose this weight and plan to participate in BCB again. I need the support and I enjoy seeing everyone have success. Jean 330/215/150
  5. I am going to try these. I am loving the agave nectar. I am trying to stay away from artificial sweetners and it is really hard when you are trying to lose weight. I really like that it is low glycemic and natural. Do you think that these could be made in regular size muffin tins and just make more? Jean

  7. Paris, I also love that lemon -berry cheesecake and so does my grandson. Lol, I have spent a lot of time thinking about how to make this. I looked at the clone recipe, but it has to be frozen, and the one from Applebees is not frozen. I am going to make it using 8 oz.low-fat cream cheese whipped til light and fluffy then fold in 8oz of ff cool whip. Splenda to sweeten. I will use fresh lemon juice and the zest for flavoring. The sauce is actually a raspberry coulis. and the fresh sliced strawberries. OMG now I am going to have to make it. My grandson (age6) will be in heaven. I will report back about the outcome. Jean

Wow Barbara you are posting early this morning Just wanted to add my favorite breakfast. 1 cup Optimum cereal (10grams fiber) 3pts 1 cup frozen mixed berry blend (thawed) 1pt raspberries,blueberries,marion berries 1 container nonfat sf yogurt 2pts 1 tablespoon flax seeds 1pt (Ground=2tbsp.) I grind them in a coffee grinder I mix it all together and have an wonderful 7point breakfast that has 17grams of fiber, great anti-oxidants along with omega 3's and ligans. It is also the most filling breakfast, stays with me for hours. I love oatmeal, but it just doesn't fill me up for very long. Jean
  9. I'm making this right now. The bulgur is soaking. this sounds awesome, a lot like tabbouleh and I love tabbouleh. Jean

MAIN DISH My family loves this one Stove Top Meatloaf 2 pounds of 96% lean ground beef (24 points) 1 package Stove Top Stuffing - I use the Low Sodium Chicken flavor (12 points) 1/2 cup eggbeaters (2 points) 1 cup water Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together and add a bit of ketchup and dijon mustard (optional). Divide into 2 loaves, coat with a thin layer of ketchup or barbeque sauce and bake for 45 minutes or more until meat is no longer pink. Serves - 8 WW Winning Points - 4.75 per serving (I count it as 5 points to cover the ketchup that I use) Total recipe is 38 points so you can choose to get more or less servings depending on how many points you have to spend. ****Be sure to adjust points if you use a different grade of beef. This is delicious (even for people who normally don't like meatloaf). Hope you enjoy .
  11. I finally got around to making this bread over the week-end and I have to say it is really good rye bread..definitely will be making this again. I didn't make it in the bread machine, I just baked it in loaves. It has a great rye flavor and I am going to make a patty melt for lunch tomorrow with the 96% lean beef.. yummy Jean
  12. This is a great dish. I have made it a couple of times. I did use o'brien potatos instead of the patties and it was awesome...it reheats well. I am going to make it again and add some steamed broccoli I really like it. Thanks Jean

  14. I made this tonight to go with my bean soup. It isn't very sweet , so if you like sweet cornbread you could increase the splenda. I baked it in an 8inch square pan sprayed with olive oil spray. Jean * Exported from MasterCook * Cornbread Recipe By : Serving Size : 16 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Miscellaneous Breads Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup flour 1 cup cornmeal 1/4 cup splenda 4 teaspoons baking powder 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup egg substitute, liquid 1 cup milk, 1% lowfat 1 tablespoon olive oil Preheat oven to 425ºF. In medium bowl, stir together all dry ingredients. In small bowl, beat together remaining ingredients. Pour liquid into dry ingredients, stir just until moistened. Pour batter into greased 8-inch baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, until lightly brown. Remove from oven, cool slightly, cut into squares and serve warm. Description: "2 points per serving" 83 cal, 1 gram fat, 1 gram fiber
