  1. As a former Weight Watchers' leader I can't say enough about getting in all your good health guidelines. I know it can be tough, I have to plan them in for the day and then make sure I follow my plan. I agree about measuring the trail mix, alot of times it doesn't seem like much volume but the points add up quickly. There are no instant results even if you stick to program, there are more members than you know that actually gain weight the first week because they are actually eating more than what they were before they started program. Sometimes it takes at least 2 weeks to see results. If you still don't see results, try a different approach. cruisergirl:bcb_march my motto for 2009: "If at first you don't succeed, try, try and try again!
  2. I am a lifetime member that over the past two or so years has lost my focus. I never thought back then that I would be in this situation again, starting at square 1! I've been reading a few of the messages and find great comfort that I am not traveling this road alone. As a former Weight Watchers' leader, I know that this is the best program ever. I really like this new "momentum" plan's philosophy. There is no quick fix, no magic pill. Like everyone else, I wish there was! I hate :bcb_grrrrhaving to start all over again. I have been a Weight Watchers' member for over 13 years. In all honestly, this is my most difficult time in trying to get my head to stay on track.... I just read the quote.."Some weeks you lose, some weeks you learn". I have to admit the scale has not been my friend lately, but I am learning or should I say re-learning! Thanks to all for listening. Be healthy in 2009, you deserve it. cruisergirl52:bcb_march
  3. I am a former weight watchers' leader and it always saddens me to hear that a member has had an initial experience such as yours. Unfortunately a few of the leaders forget that not everyone that is joining is rejoining and a good explanation of program is necessary. Actually, I always believed that all enrolling members should treat the experience as "new" in order to benefit by learning anything that might have been missed the previous time around. We can always learn something new. From all the buddies answering your message, I would say you have lots of support here. If I can be of any assistance, please feel free to contact me. I can identify with your situation. Life gets in our way and finding the path back is not always quick and easy. Weight Watchers' still has the best program around for fitting into real life and making it yours. Picking up "Momentum" Crusiergirl52:bcb_march
