  1. I don't have any awesome advise, I think Lynn has covered that. I just wanted to say I also understand where you're coming from. Hopefully we all can learn to keep a happy balance. I want to keep this plan livable. My biggest issue is getting side tracked and then not getting back on track right away. I keep telling myself I won't let it happen this time. Its been a month and my wight loss has been slow, but I'm feeling really good this time. I haven't binged once. And if I do for whatever reason I will not let it go past that moment.
  2. I can't wait till I have that at peace feeling. Thank you for sharing.
  3. This is definitely on my "to try" list. Thanks for posting it.
  4. I always liked Hamburger Helper when I was a kid. After you cook it with the tweaks let us know how you liked it.
  5. I keep most of the items listed plus seafood. I always keep ready to eat shrimp in the fridge. Shrimp always hits the spot for me. I keep several types of frozen fish too.
  6. Lurker here. I check the forum everyday. And I get tons of useful information. Thanks! When I ask questions everyone is super helpful. Thanks again! I also use the WW Filling Foods board. I like the "vibe" here better. I usually ask my questions here. I know Lynn uses the WW board. You are very positive and helpful over there too. What would people like to talk about everyday on this board? I would be more than willing to start a tread everyday if possible. Just let me know.
  7. I do crock pot cooking every other week or so. I've found that most recipes call for cooking on low for up to eight hours. Instead I cook my dishes on high for two to four hours. This has fixed my mushy food problem. And the meal is always still very flavorful. Of course this means you can't leave it to cook while your out and about. I have to reserve my crock pot cooking for days I know I can stay home.
  8. Thanks for the information. I want to cook some chicken in the crock pot with the sauce on. I think it would be hard to judge just how much I did eat in one sitting. I will look for a SiFi recipe instead. Thanks!
  9. I found ketchup on the list. Thanks Lynn. I'm also looking for a BBQ sauce. Is this a "free" condiment? Thanks again, Brandy
  10. Does anyone have a list of approved "free" condiments for SFT? I tried to search and couldn't find anything. ~Brandy
  11. I tried a few other "pancake" recipes and didn't care for them. I will have to give this a try.
  12. Thanks everyone for the input. I get plenty of fruits and veggies usually. But some days I find myself eating a few extras with dinner to get my full GHG in. I'm just trying to keep accountable.
  13. How many veggie servings would you count for a can of tomato soup? I plan on eatting the entire can (made with a can of water). Thanks, Brandy
  14. I bought a Bodum milk frothier recently. And I love it. Its a tall glass cup that has this crazy metal and mesh contraption that fits inside. It whips the milk (using self pumping action). The froth says solid. I've been using it it my Chai Tea Lattes. I will have to whip some up with a little Splenda and try it with fruit.
  15. Hi Lynn What's your take on COW bread being SFT? What would you consider a reasonable serving size? I've tried to look up COW bread threads using Google and I couldn't really find anything. Do you have any links with recipes? ~Brandy
