    WW Cookies?

Has anyone had the WW ginger snap cookies (2 point pkg)? Our leader gave everyone a package 2 weeks ago at a meeting and they were really good. Then she said they weren't available yet (at least, at our location) and I was bummed. I've been looking for a comparable recipe to make my own batch of tiny ginger snap cookies, but haven't found a good one yet. Has anyone tried these and liked them? Anyone know of a good recipe I can make until we get them in at our center? Thanks.
  2. You go girl! I know what you mean about doing things you would have never done before. As a 270lb high school student, I sat by and took pictures when my scout group went rapelling. But this past March while on vacation I climbed 2 sides of the climbing wall, making it to the top and ringing the bell each time! What a rush! I literally teared up at how far I've come in 15 years. Keep pushing yourself! You are a motivation to us all! :bcbsalute
  3. My DH made this last week and I got to have some leftovers this weekend. This is VERY GOOD! Super easy--he put some baby carrots and cubed sweet potato in with it while it cooked. We will definately be making this again, maybe for company! Two thumbs up!
  4. I made this a couple weeks ago (in the oven, not the crockpot). My only suggestion would be to use arrowroot or corn starch to thicken up the sauce after cooking. Otherwise, this was very good!
  5. Third time's a charm for me. I don't know that I could do it again, though...

    WW e-tools

I've signed up for and cancelled the free trial with no problems.
  7. I couldn't agree more. This is exactly why I've decided to stick with flex. Do what works!
  8. I'm game! I love cooking and now have too many cookbooks to fit on my bookshelf. I have an expandable file folder stuffed full of recipes printed off the internet. I have Mastercook (which I'm not very good at using), and am demoing Living Cookbook. I would love to trade favorite recipes--I have several that are favorites, and I'd love to get more! How do we start?
  9. I made these Saturday. I think I might have done something wrong. The only thing I changed was I used wheat bran instead of oat bran (it's what I had around the house.) I did everything else exactly the same. When they were finished, I tasted one and there was quite a bite to it--almost like there was too much baking powder. I rechecked the recipe to make sure I put the right amt in--did anyone else who made these find that 1 Tbs of baking powder was too much? I ended up throwing the batch away.
  10. I've had MC for some time now and I am slowly entering all my recipes into it. My question has to do with the pantry feature. Does anyone use it, and if so, how exactly do you use it? Do you make different pantries for different sections of your kitchen (i.e. fridge, freezer, etc) and if so, does the "what can I make" feature still work? Do you enter all the quantities of everything? I thought I read that MC doesn't update quantities when you use something, so are you constantly updating quantities of food? Or can you just enter the foods without the quantities? What, in your opinion, is the easiest and most efficient way to use this feature? What works well for you? TIA for any tips and experiences you can give me. I'd really like to use this feature, but the maintenance seems a little overwhelming, and I don't want to put all my food in and then find out it's not going to work well for me.
  11. Way to go, buddy! Keep up the good work!
  12. Yum! I saw these in an ad in my Cooking Light magazine (with a coupon). The ad advertised the vanilla flavor for 1 point, but when I got to the store they had mocha--I love mocha. The mocha bars are 2 points and are worth the extra point. It is a really rich, chocolate coffee flavor. Kinda pricy--I think I paid over $3.50 for a box of 4. But these are REALLY GOOD! I saw on their website ( Starbucksicecream.com ) that they have a low fat ice cream. Has anyone tried it yet?
  13. The california rolls I get at Sam's are 1 point per piece.
