  1. since I'm finally getting back on track, have made a point to walk more. The weather's been very cold! (8 degrees, a little snow and wind today). I am persevering by dressing for the elements. Too cold for the dogs tho, paws very cold before the first mile mark : ( I also keep track on a calendar on my fridge, love being able to see my progress.
  2. OH SO True.... Read in an above post that you 'lose weight in the kitchen and gain health by exercising" Hope I'm close on the quote, can't see it, and I'm a newbie.
  3. Back on track time for sure! lost 70 pounds in 2002-2003. Did well for about 8 or 9 years, then let the old habits creep back in. Ugh, never thought that would happen. Oh well, today is a new day. I just turned 50 and am ready to do what it takes to get back to a healthy weight and a comfortable body. The recent physical was a wake-up call for sure, blood levels up quite a bit since last checked when I was 40
  4. I weighed myself for the first time in well over a year, even when at Dr.'s I would ask them not to tell me! Well, I'm 32 pounds over goal, figured I was up about that much. I reached lifetime in July 2003 and was on track for the most part until 2011. At my recent physical, my cholesterol and blood sugar up quite a bit since checked in 2004. WAKE-UP call. Started WW a year before my 40th birthday. Just turned 50 and ready to get back on track to a healthier me : ) Sheryl
