  1. Just wanted to post an apology to my red team members (and to all of the biggest losers). When I signed up for this challenge, I had full intentions of rocking my way through it! However, I hit a tough spot, and was ashamed to come in and continually post gains. So instead, I just let my team down... and I shouldn't have done that! I'm back on track now. Seven days strong and OP! Anyway, sorry for bailing on you all! Good luck on the remainder of the challenge!! ~Ang
  2. Sorry Reds, but I have to use a pass this week. It's been a very stressful week (last week of preschool assessments, state inspection, preschool graduation... you get the picture), and I have not handled it very well. I hope the rest of you, on every team, have a successful week! I'll be back on track before next WI... I promise!!!! ~Ang
  3. Congrats!! Do you mind me asking how high a dosage you were on? I've lost over 70 pounds, and I haven't even been able to decrease my 100mg dosage! I would love to be able to go off of it (I honestly think my job affects it more than my weight). It's so awesome that you were able to get rid of them!! ~Ang
  4. My loss is tiny this week too, and it's aggravating, since I really ramped up the exercise this week! I'm only down .3 (stinks, since I was up .4 last week! ) But, all that does is make me more determined this week! Come on reds!!! Let's kick some black and blue booty this week!! ~Ang

I haven't gotten as much exercise in as I'd like this week (I was sick Tues/Wed, and I did Curves this morning, but have plans tonight so I won't be able to get my evening walk/jog), but the weekend looks like a good time to play catch up!   6. Way to go red team on an awesome week last week! I have to report a .4 gain this week. Sorry team... since we're only ahead by .1 as of last week, I hate to post a gain at all. But it'll be better next week, I'm sure of it!! I listened to the week one c25k podcast last night... I think it's so cool that people make those available for free, especially since they tell you when to walk and when to run! So cool! I plan on giving it another shot tonight so long as it's not raining. (And if it IS raining, I'll compensate by doing WATP Walk and Jog) ~Ang

  8. Just poppin' in to say hi , and to check in on all my fellow losers. I've done really well through the daytime lately, but I've struggled a lot in the evenings. So today, I began making a list off all the reasons I want to be healthy, and all of the events coming up this summer. I don't want to look back and say, "Man, I could have done so much more!" I want to know that I worked my butt off... not to be at a certain weight or certain size... but to be in the best shape I could possibly be in at each of these events. I threw some jogging intervals into my 3 mile walk yesterday, and plan to do it again tomorrow. I've heard so many people talk about the couch to 5k, I think I'd like to give it a try. Wish me luck! And speaking of... good luck this week to everyone on every team.. but especially to my REDDIES!!!!!!!!! ~Ang
  9. Okay, I am finally posting a WI for this week, but I have to admit, I'm not entirely comfortable with it. It looks reaaaal good, but I have a feeling it's gonna bite me in the butt next week! For one reason, today's WI was first thing in the AM, before food, or water, or anything else (I usually weigh at 6 in the evening). Then of course you never know with different scales. Well, for what it's worth, I'm going to celebrate today (down 2.5), and work as hard as I can to make sure it sticks for next week's WI (which after all, is in only 4 more days for me!) Go RED TEAM! We're small, but mighty! ~Ang
  10. The chocolate ones are okay in a pinch, but certainly not my favorites. However, I do really like the coffee cakes. Like someone said, I often have them for breakfast, along with yogurt and some fruit. Also, ditto to whoever it was that said the icing on the chocolate was a little slimy... If I want a chocolate fix, I chunk down the extra change for the WW chocolate caramel or dark chocolate raspberry bars you can get at meetings... still 1 point, still small, but better tasting! (And don't forget the peanut butter bliss!! Yum!!!) ~Ang
  11. Hey gang! The migrain has passed, and I'm feeling good again! I checked online, and I am going to WI Saturday morning at a town nearby (there was another one Thursday, but I'd be pushing it to get there after work.) Tomorrow, my activity will include: Curves in the AM, walk + mow the grass in the PM. Friday:Curves in the AM, walk or workout DVD in the PM. Saturday: bike ride with DH (usually about 1 1/2 to 2 hours). What are my other Red Buddies planning? ~Ang
  12. Hey there, you big bunch of losers!! Congrats for the great combined loss for our first week! We rock! I'm not sure what's going to happen today. I'm fighting a TOM migrain, and I can't leave work to crash like I need to. So I'm gonna play it by ear tonight, and may not make it to WI. I don't want to let the team down, but chances are my weight will be up tonight anyway, all things considered. I know my leader has a Thursday meeting in a town nearby. I'll check and see if it's at a time I can make. If so, is it okay for me to WI on a later day this week? Our town is sponsoring a "Coming Alive" program (it's a community weight loss thing), and our daycare signed up to compete this year, so I have double incentive to get in lots of APs over the next few week! GO RED! ~Ang

  14. We felt the earthquake all the way up here in NW Ohio! It happened about 5 minutes before my alarm went off, and I thought the washer was out of balance downstairs (like anyone would be doing laundry at that time of the morning!). It just shook the bed for a few seconds, then it was over. I fell back asleep and didn't know what it was until I watched the news at 7:30. I won't be able to post again until Sunday night, so for all you REDS who haven't posted your WI yet... let's get to it!!!!!!!!! I can handle losing when someone works harder than me, but I don't wanna lost just because people don't post! So good or bad, show us your results!! We can do this team!!!!! ~Ang
  15. COME ON RED TEAM!!!!!!!!! I just did some calculations, and although math is NOT my strong point, it looks like the blue team is smokin' us, and black is neck-n-neck with us. Have you weighed in yet? Did you remember to post?? If your WI is coming up this weekend, are you giving it all to see results??? We can do this!!! ~Ang
