  1. Gee Wiz! for a few moments I was dreaming of Cheese Cake...
  2. does any one have a good recipe for pumkin pie bars??
  3. makes 4 sandwiches 4 points each 4 2oz onion rolls garlic favor pam spray 1 8oz sliced fresh mushrooms 1 1/2 cups of sliced zucchini 1 small sweet onion 1 green pepper sliced 1 tomatoe sliced 1 minced clove of garlic 3 oz of low fat process cheese loaf(velveeta) 3Tablespoons of light beer salt and pepper to taste warm up roll in over wrap in foil at 300*for 5 minutes. Spray a skillet and saute veggies till tender ( not tomatoes- place them in last and just warm through) While they are cooking in small sauce pan melt cheese stir in beer till smooth. cut roll in half spoon 1/4 veggies on roll spoon, 2 tablespoons of sauce over veggies top with the other half of roll.
  4. 2 med. pink grapefruit 3 tablespoon reduced favor pancake syurp cinnamon, nutmeg to taste 2 teaspoons chopped pecans cut fruit in 1/2 remove any seeds, loosen each section, place in small baking dish, mix the syurp and cinnamon, nutmeg spoon over top of fruit, top with nuts bake 5 minutes or till heated.. this also works good with apples, pears and oranges. 1 fruit = 1 point
  5. 2 Teaspoons Vegetable oil 1 pound of turkey cutlets 2 tablespoons of flour w/a dash of salt & Pepper 1/3 cup sliced green onions 2 minced cloves garlic 3/4 cup unsweetened orange juice 1 tablespoon soy sauce add oil to a nonstick pan and heat, dust turkey in flour, add to oil and brown on both sides about 3 mintues, remove from pan, in same pan saute onions and garlic for about 30 seconds, add orange juice and soy sauce, bring to a boil, stiring till mixture thickens slightly, return turkey to pan coating with sauce simmer 2 minutes serve on a bed of steamed rice with snow peas. *note the orange sauce is good with chicken or pork too, just use a boned chicken breast or pork chops. ******************************************* the points are 4 and it makes 4 servings.   6. 1/2 cup chopped seeded cucumber 1/3 cup fat free Ranch dressing 1/4 cup feta cheese crumbled lettuce 2 (6inch) pita bread cut in half 6 oz of Healthy Choice roast beef slices 1 small sweet onion sliced 1 small tomatoe sliced mix cukes, dressing and cheese set aside open pocket bread fill with 1 1/2 oz of meat and any amount of veggies, spoon cucumber sauce over pocket makes 4 servings 4 points each
  7. 1 point...makes 8 servings 1 large can of no salt beef broth 1 TB. low sodium Worcesstershire sauce salt and pepper to taste 1 cup quick cooked barley pan spray 1 8oz sliced fresh mushrooms 1 small chopped sweet onion 1 rib of celery chopped 1 carrot chopped combined broth, sauce and salt and pepper bring to a boil, add barley cover and simmer 10 minutes remove from heat let stand 5 minutes. Spray a saute pan and add all veggies, cook till tender stir into barley mixture. good on holidays with turkey instead of stuffing..
  8. take a elephant garlic bulb, cut the tip off the top, brush on olive oil, place in small baking dish on top rack in stove. on bottom rack in stove place a pan of water. bake at 350* till light brown and soft. push out soft garlic and spred on melba toast *use mouth wash before going out. lol
  9. 1 1/2 cups uncooked macaroni ( I use the wheels because my kids like them but any noodle will work) 1 15-oz can vegetarian chili w/ beans(Hormel) 2 cans of mexican spiced chili beans 3/4 cup reduced fat sharp Cheddar shredded 1 cup mock sour cream ( take one cup of fat free yougart put a few coffee liners in a strainer place in yougart let drain till thickened) 1-2 green onion cook noodles with out salt or oil, drain set aside. mix beans, chili in pan warm, add in noodles, to server, place chili in bowls top with cheese, a spoon of "sour Cream" and garnish with chopped green onion. serve with johnny cake get for weekend sitting watching the football game! my husband likes it and does not miss the meat... makes 6 servings at 6 points [This message has been edited by curlyjo (edited 10-04-2000).]
  10. ingredients: for one sandwich two slices of healthy choice whole wheat bread. 1/2 cup low fat ricotta cheese 1/2 cup chunky veggie spaghetti sauce toast the bread, place one in a small baking pan, place the chesse on top of bread, top with the second slice of bread, top with sauce. bake for 15 min at 350* or till warm through.. this sounds funny but it is very good 5 points

I am not sure of the points but this is good take an eggplant and trim bottom so it sits on a cookie sheet, take out the seeds, spray the cookie sheet with garlic favor pam and spray the top off the eggplant. Bake at 350* till soft and light brown.. cool to touch and scoop out the eggplant, place in a blender, with two teapoons of lemon juice blend till smooth, add a dash of salt and pepper and two mince cloves of garlic, blend and place in a bowl to chill, serve with crackers, small breads or use on tacos. you can also add minced onions and tomatoes.
