  1. Fuji apples are my favorite! And today I jogged a mile......granted it was a slow mile, but I didn't stop! Then I walked another mile to top it all off.

    You could count by the piece only if your machine juices the whole fruit (skin,etc). If your juicer takes the skin off (and you have to clean out that little "catcher" thingy), then you should measure the amount of juice and count it as juice.

  5. Davinci sugar free vanilla syrup and splena brown sugar. Yum!

  7. I peel and slice lengthwise (1/4"). Dip in egg beaters and then into Panko bread crumbs (found in the Japanese section of the grocery store). Spray a baking sheet with PAM and bake the slices til done and crispy. Layer it with red sauce and light cheese to make a parmesan casserole.

    Wow! I am so glad to hear a healthy version of this! The original recipe has melted butter and pecans poured over the cake mix instead of the soda. Thanks so much for posting this!
  9. I, too, eat non-breakfast foods for breakfast. My faves are veggie burger on light bun, grilled cheese, crustless pumpkin pie, baked oatmeal.
  10. I grew up in a college town in Florida, and in the 70's I remember SOOO many hippies ordering a "vegetarian whopper" (exactly what you had ONCE you threw out the meat!). Now they have the veggie burger patty.
