    WW Breads

    YAY! I finally found the breads, muffins, bagels at Giant Eagle. I bought one of each to try...the point value is wonderful for the serving size. Going to enjoy a bagel tomorrow morning with my Chai tea.
  2. I saw the brownie mix in the health food section of Giant Eagle. How do you make individual servings in the micro? Would like to try that, as I agree...can't have a whole pan of them sitting around!
  3. Took a serving of these to work today, along with a couple of cubes of the Laughing Cow creamy swiss....DIVINE! My new favorite snack! Thank you so much for turning me on to these!!!
  4. Thanks Cheryl...maybe they had just added too much when I had it. I'm assuming this is a liquid? Will I find it in the coffee/tea section? I'd love to try it again, only this time tweaking it to my liking.
  5. Question on the Chai... My niece introduced me to this over her Christmas break home from college. She goes to school in Colorado, and I guess this is really "the drink" there. Anyway, we were at Starbuck's and she made me get the Nonfat Chai with no water. Although the first few sips were delightful, after a couple more it seemed way too sweet, and had a heavy tea flavor. Could this just have been this experience, or is Chai a little on the strong side?
  6. I went to the True Lemon website a few weeks ago, because I couldn't find this in the stores. Just got a few sample packets in the mail, and I LOVE it! I've been adding it to my water (the only way I can drink water is with lemon), and it's wonderful! If I can't find it at my Giant Eagle this week (where they say they should have it), I'm definitely going to order it from the website.
  7. That's neat that Walmart has their own...probably much cheaper. Can't remember exactly what I pay for the Crystal Lite, but I believe it was around $3.
  8. I have to agree...you are in control of you. If there are foods that are triggers you have to try and steer clear of them. One of the things I did to boost my weight loss, and help me at this time of year was to get bread out of my diet. That also includes cookies. So, I was able to bake, and although tempted, I knew not to start even with just one, because then they'd be gone in no time. I made a promise to myself, and it's going to help me get through the next few weeks. It takes 21 days to break a habit, so I'm going to take 21 days to put bread in it's place. Don't wait another day to get back on program. Go get a glass of water and just get OP again today!
  9. Guess what? I found them yesterday at Target! There they were sitting right on the end of the aisle in a big Triscuit display (pre-New Years Eve snack ideas, I'm sure). Couldn't wait to get them home and try one...they are WONDERFUL! Reminds me in a way of foccacia bread, which I love.BTW, Cheryl, I'm in Ohio and just found them. Maybe they were slow making it to the midwest, but keep checking. I'm sure they will be out soon!

  12. I was on a plateau for a few weeks, and was getting so discouraged. I love the points, and knew I would do well switching to Core, but I did incorporate one aspect of Core into my program....I quit with the bread. The week I omitted the bread from my diet, I started losing again. I'm really excited to see how my weigh-in goes on Tuesday, because according to my scale I've lost 4 pounds this week! I am still exercising like I was, and following everything else to the letter as I had been. This one omission really seems to have been the push I needed to get the weight loss going again.
  13. I haven't seen this variety yet, but I love Triscuits and I love rosemary. Hopefully I'll see them in my Giant Eagle this week so I can try them!
  14. I would love to hear ANY tips on using Master Cook! I purchased the program after seeing so many people use it in this forum, but for the life of me I can't get anything to come out right on it. The calorie count of recipes is always astronomical, and I get pop ups that say, "Master Cook assumes a whole one of these," even when I've put in a half tsp. or a quarter cup, etc. Is it really that hard of a program to use?

  17. As of tonight, I've lost a total of 26 pounds on Weight Watchers since August 31st!!! I finally broke through my plateau and it felt wonderful to hear that I lost 1.5 pounds this week! I was awarded the 25 pound magnet, which now is proudly displayed on my fridge...nothing like a visual reminder every day! Only 6 pounds away from my WW goal...it will be wonderful to finally start a New Year and not have to say, "This year I'm going to start that diet..." It truly has become a new way of life, and I am enjoying all the physical and emotional changes it's brought about.

  24. Have made this before, and it was a huge hit! My two teenage sons absolutely loved it. Haven't made it in a long while, thanks for reminding me of it!
