  1. Ok it's really called Ratatoullie, but I don't think I can spell that right. Anyhow it's really scrumptious, we had it over pasta, but I heard it's great over a nice peice of toasty bread as well. Veggie Glop POINTS® Value | 3 Servings | 6 main meals | 26 oz bottled spaghetti sauce 1 medium eggplant(s) peeled or unpeeled 1 medium onion(s) 2 cup mushroom(s) 1 medium zucchini 1 medium green pepper(s) 5 medium plum tomatoes 4 clove garlic clove(s) chop all veggies into chunks add pasta sauce place in crockpot and cook 4-6 hours on low Chef's note...my crockpot is denying it's existence as a "slow" cooker, if you have a normal slow cooker and not a Rival "I want to be an oven" Smart Pot, the original recipe calls for 6-8 hours on low, also original recipe didn't call for mushrooms, but you can pretty much toss any veggie into this and it'll still taste good.
  2. Cheddar Garlic Bisquits POINTS® Value | 2 Servings | 11 side dishes | 2 1/4 cup Bisquick Reduced-Fat Baking Mix 3/4 cup fat-free skim milk 1/2 cup Kraft 2% Milk Reduced Fat Natural Shredded Cheese Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese 1/2 tsp garlic powder Mix Bisquick with garlic powder to taste,I used about 1/2 tsp. Add the cheddar cheese and then the milk, mix until a dough forms. Drop dough onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 450 until golden brown This made 11 biscuts for me, which would make them 2 points a piece, they were great with a nice bowl of soup for lunch or dinner. P.S. I really can't spell Bisquit, Biscut? anyhow...they taste good!
  3. Vegetable Hamburger Soup POINTS® Value | 2 Servings | 10 1 pound cooked lean ground turkey 1 cup onion(s) 2 cup green cabbage 1 cup celery 10 oz frozen mixed vegetables (1 small package) 3 cans stewed tomatoes 32 oz fat-free beef broth 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp table salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp dried thyme Brown ground turkey and onion over medium-high heat until throughly cooked. Drain if neccesary. Stir in all remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook 20-30 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Adapted from a Pillsbury Cookbook by me. Original recipe used ground beef. You can omit the meat for less points. You can also add 3/4 cup of quick cooking barley, just count the points. Very tasty, and hearty soup we are having this and some biscuts for dinner tomorrow.
  4. They had signs in my new Walmart from Lays about a month ago saying that they were changing packages for the WOW chips, some sort of "New Look Same Chips" sort of sign, so I knew they were the same chips. I used to have a problem with the WOW stuff before WW when I would eat the whole bag or something, but I don't have any "side effects" when I eat just a serving. I don't think they were really "trying" to be sneaky, considering they did have signs (at least in my store) I definately think they are trying to increase sales by having a new look, but I simply refuse to pay 4 dollars and change for a bag of chips. JMHO :bcbsalute
  5. Found this mix in the baking isle at the store, and couldn't resist picking them up. Made them this morning, and they are quite tasty. Very simple to make as well, all you have to do is open the Blueberries rinse them off, mix one cup of water with the mix, and add the blueberries. Only 2pts each if you make 12! DH loved them and was about to eat them all on me. Great warm with a little ICBNB! Thumbs up from me.
  6. Hi all! Doing some web surfing today as it's dreary and grey outside, and I found this great BEAN site!
  7. Don't know if this has been posted before but this page has great info and recipes on Spaghetti Squash.
  8. This sounds great! I can just picture a nice scoop of it over some fresh shredded lettuce! This one will definately get a try at my house!
  9. I made this last night and it was great! I cut my chicken breasts into strips before crocking, and at the end threw in some frozen baby carrots and broccoli. I had mine with 1 cup of whole wheat pasta, and the rest I tossed with regular spaghetti for my daughter and husband. Very good! Thanks Paris!:bcbsalute
  10. I made this today and YUM! FYI-I used regular skim milk, and it came out fine, still VERY frothy! I also added some DaVinci chocolate flavored syrup for a kick of chocolate! I drank the whole thing! Very tasty!
  11. My new favorite 3 point snack is 15 Triscut Thin Crisps-2pts 1 wedge of Laughing Cow Spreadable cheese-1pt It really satisfies my craving for crunchy and salty and it tastes great, sometimes I pair it with a bowl of 0 point soup for a really filling snack!
  12. Made these tonight and they were simply awesome! Great recipe, my slowcooker cooks really hot so it only took a couple hours and they were done! Very yummy passing this one on to my mom to try! Thanks!
  13. Hi everyone! I just had to share I cannot belive how much I love our new Super Walmart, I found such great buys last night. I was thrilled to find out that they make their own brand of 98% FF Cream soup for only 77cents a can. I found Boca Breakfast patties for only 75 cents a box! The Smart ones are down to 2.27 a peice, the Smart Ones Desserts were on sale for 1.47! If it hadn't been so late at night I would have been skipping around the store. LOL Plus I just love the fact that I can get everything at one store! I also found their own brand FF Turkey Breast for sandwhiches, and they make their own brand FF Sweetened Condensed milk for when baking time comes. Well I'm done on my Super Walmart kick now.
  14. Hi Everyone today I tried Boca's Chick n Patty the Spicy vareity, I was really happy with it, it had a great taste and a little "kick" to it. I used to eat tons of the Weaver Chicken Patties, but I would gladly eat one of these instead. Had it on a light bun, with a slice of FF Cheese. YUM Two thumbs up from me.
