  1. I've learned that I can achieve anything if I really really want it. Follow the program...exactly Don't give up or get discouraged because if you follow the program, it will work. Just hang in there! The last 10lbs seemed to take FOREVER to lose. All that hard work will pay off soon, although it may take a little longer than you may have thought. I walk/run with my dog twice a day, every day. I'm really not a huge fan of "formal" exercise. Most of my exercise comes from things like playing soccer, swimming, and walking around the park. I've also been getting a ton of exercise working on a Habitat house for the past month. Pretty much anything that's fun and doesn't seem like a chore
  2. My starting weight was 220 and my WW goal weight is 134. It's so funny that people think I'm like 16 or 17 when I'm actually almost 22. I guess that will be a good thing when I get older Losing weight will definitely make you look much younger and healthier! hey COCKY!! Gooooo cocks!
  3. Thank you everyone! I'm still a few pounds away from my goal weight, but I'll be there soon! I don't really have any secrets. I just follow the program Just stick with it, and it will work. Good luck!!
  4. I haven't been able to post lately because I've been so busy with all of my classes. I'm still losing though, and I'm only 8lbs away from my goal weight!
  5. Thanks for trying! I just made this up one night when I had leftover mushrooms, so let me know what you think
  6. An old man ordered one hamburger, one order of french fries and one drink. The old man unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half. He placed one half in front of his wife. He then carefully counted out the french fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife. He took a sip of the drink, his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them. As he began to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them kept looking over and whispering. You could tell they were thinking, "That poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal for the two of them." As the man began to eat his fries a young man came to the table. He politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man said they were just fine - They ! were used to sharing everything. The surrounding people noticed the little old lady hadn't eaten a bite. She sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink. Again the young man came over and begged them to let him buy another meal for them. This time the old woman said "No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything." As the old man finished and was wiping his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again came over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asked "What is it you are waiting for?" She answered.... "THE TEETH!" Now that's love!
  7. I don't have my points slider with me right now, but according to an online calculator it would be 14 points. 590 calories, 23 fat, and 1 fiber
  8. I don't eat artificial sweeteners, for many reasons. I use Sugar in the Raw and I really like it. Of course you have to count the points for it, but since it's sweeter than sugar you can use less of it. I think you made a very wise choice by not using artificial sweeteners. Since taking them out of my diet, I've felt a lot better and I don't crave sweets like I used to. I also found the cause of the headaches I was getting every afternoon, and haven't had a single heachache since
  9. There should be nutritional information on the paper they wrap them in. I haven't had one since being on WW, so I dont know the exact points. I'm pretty sure they're really high in points, but they're definitely very good!
  10. I have a Gazelle (the $100 one from WalMart) and I really don't like it. It's really difficult to get a good workout on this thing. Mine doesn't have resistance, so maybe that would help increase the intensity of the workout. I would love to get rid of mine but im sure the price of shipping would be insane!
  11. I'm not exactly sure how many points that would be, but I suspect it would be very very high. I would guess somewhere above 20 points, but I could be wrong. I hope someone else can figure it out for you! Do you have a Publix in your area? They make great subs and the nutritional information is on the paper they wrap it with. These are also pretty high in points though mostly because of the bread and cheese.
  12. What a great website! I love how you have everything (pictures/journal/thoughts) all in one place! I had a great time reading it and will be sure to be a regular visitor. Keep up the good work!
  13. I was looking for something to make for dinner tomorrow and this sounds really good! It's almost like a Mexican version of the Deep Dish Pizza Casserole (which I make ALL the time). Thanks Christine, I'll let you know how it turns out!
  14. The great thing about WW is that we can eat whatever we want! Eating a chocolate turtle may be a waste of points to one person, but to another it may be just what they need to stay OP. As long as you are following all of the healthy guidelines, you can "waste" your points on whatever you want.
