Roasted Red Pepper Dip Add some spice to your life with this great alternative to regular chip dip. 2 medium red sweet peppers 2 tablespoons tomato paste 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (or 1/4 teaspoon crushed and dried thyme) 1/4 teaspoon salt dash of red pepper flakes 1 clove garlic, chopped 1. Roast the peppers: Cut peppers into quarters and remove stem, seeds, and membranes. Line a baking sheet with foil. Place peppers down on foil, skin side up and press each segment to lie flat on sheet. Bake in an oven at 425º F for 20 minutes or until skin is blackened and blistered. Remove peppers from oven and place in a paper bag. Close bag and let cool for 10 minutes. Peel and discard skins. 2. Place peppers in a food processor, cover and blend until finely chopped. 3. Add tomato paste, sugar, thyme, salt, red pepper flakes and garlic. Cover and blend until smooth. Options: For a different colored dip, try orange or yellow sweet peppers. Makes 3/4 cups and serves 12. Fat: 0.1 g Carbohydrates: 3.4g Calories: 14.6 Protein: 0.5g
  6. I agree go by the info listed,and if it is less than that you are still okay but if you take more than it says too,it could cause a gain,,,,,

I never eat anything that has no NI on it, Those points that are guessed can either be too low and you end of gaining weight,or too high and you cheat yourself,Good luck the shop I work in also brings in red light goodies too and it is tough. I try to have something on hand that I can eat instead and then I do not feel deprived,,,,like ww muffins,or 100 calorie snack packs,that usually does the trick,,
  8. They have two different ones on QVC shopping network and my friend owns the electric one with the brain on the front and loves it,I am gonna get one.I still have the old old one.
  9. I use Mrs. Dash for seasonings and there are several varieties, They are good and do help with seasoning the food. I do not like the salt substitutes they taste bitter to me,they may have improved them since I tried those it was years ago,they were so bad I would rather of had no taste at all than that.Hope that will help, Good luck with your blood pressure,I feel for you cause I know how hard it is to give up salt.....
  10. I love the balsamic one I have not tried the others yet,But it is definitely a keeper. I am going to try to spritz on top and again halfway thru the salad and I think that will be better than all at once.
  11. Sometimes,we do everything right for some reason we have a gain. We all have days of hunger. I will eat popcorn that helps fill me up. And drink water and more water. But just want to say do not freak if you have a gain, everyone gains once in awhile and usually if we have been honest that weight will come off the next week,Good luck,
  12. No Flex points are just if you need extra points during the week. They are wonderful to have but you do not have to use them.Special occassions or just need a few extra points,

  14. I do not have an exact recipe,but when I make it I use the ff cream soups 98% ff.and the 2% cheese. I do not like to cook with ff cheese,to me it does not melt right,anyway it will cut the calories in the sauce. It tastes good too. Good luck,,,,Arena
