    Mira - here goes. I am a peanut butter & chic peas freak so the combination is really good. I like it cold spread on a big matzo cracker or pita bread with banana. 1 15 oz can Chick Peas 1 16 oz jar Natural Peanut Butter kosher salt to taste splenda to taste dump all in food processor, add a little water as needed to process store in 2 16 oz containers, refrigerate. 1 pt per TBSP (opposed to 2 pts for straight peanut butter
  3. If you are in first gear you should be pedeling more (faster) but going slower. Kinda like getting you in the windup. Starts you moving for you to start upshifting. If you are not moving at all, you are not in gear. The more you start moving then shift to the next higher gear. It should be a gradual thing which you need to get used to. Every bike is different. The only thing that is important to remember is when you are ready to shift, stop pedeling, then shift, then continue pedeling. Don't do all at the same time. If you have ever driven a stick-shift car, think of it the same way. As far as your little bootie being sore, oh baby you will walk like a cowboy for awhile but it does get better. Try using a gel seat cover. Again, you may like others say, need to have it taken in for a tune-up like you would your car. Be careful though, they may tighten your brakes a bit. Test them out first. I took mine out of the shop and had to stop, which usually took a bit of pressure, now I almost went over the front handle bars. I am still bruised when I almost gave myself a hysterectomy when the bar jammed into an unmentionable area!!!!

  6. They are delicious but the mint is a bit too minty for me. If I want mint, I use the regular and add some mint flavoring to it.
  7. I am reading a wonderful book entitled "Between Two Worlds - Escape from Tyranny: Growing up in the shadow of Saddam" It is written by the founder of Women to Women International - Zainab Salbi. Her father was Saddam Hussein's personal pilot and it is her life story. She not only tells of her life in the shadows of Hussein and about him and what he did but also how she came to America through an arranged marriage, to only be abused by her husband and stuck her because of the Gulf War but how she freed herself and became who she is today. It really is an incredible story and another reason that even though things can be bad here in the US, how incredibly lucky we are to be here.
  8. I had made this about a month ago. I wound up with way too much cheese mixture so I only used about 1/3 - 1/2, along with all the noodles. I also used the FF cream cheese - you could never tell the difference. I would warn you I found it to be a bit too "mustardy" taste. If you don't want that, I would try only 1 tsp. first - you can always add more. It is not your typical Mac & Cheese recipe because of this but is quite good.

    Anyone try..

    I am looking at the Oatmeal Raisin one now and my calculations make it 3 pts. (180 cal., 5 grams figer and 4.5 fat) I love these. I keep them in my desk in case I haven't had time for a good meal or just need a snack. I love for breakfast a handful of cereal (whatever kind is your favorite) - for me I like crunchy. I add a cup of flavored yogurt (peach and lemon - yummmmm) and a sliced banana.

    Grandmasugar: You are so right. Before WW I would have gone for the creamier, fattier, unhealthier variety. Now I make better choices but more importantly, to find a product that tastes so scrumptious just like the "bad" variety but enjoying it so much more knowing how much healthier it is for you and not feel like you are being cheated or eating a "diet" food.
